Loving this Adventure, I'm half way through playing catch up. That's ok , I had 220 of Slim & Soph's Nakama to do a marathon on 🤪 😂 I've worked it out Josh, You need an estuary rod 7ft 2 piece (compact for boat) 2-4kg or 2-5kg, 2500 size reel w 10 up to 15lb braid. Should make life easier fishing in the estuaries P.S. love my fishing & rods, being a rod builder Cheers
Slim & Soph’s videos are top notch! Heaps of fun and so great to see so many young yachtys exploring the beauty of this divine country. That’s awesome advice for Josh, Stevos. He’s really grateful for the wealth of knowledge you have to offer. It’s going on the wishlist for sure! Recently he’s been buying 2nd hand rods as it’s starting to get a little more serious. He’ll invest in something like this. Would love to hear any ideas you have about the best way to store rods, as space is a commodity on Innerbloom and rods are remarkably delicate things when not stored correctly. Cheers! Phoebs
Hey, run back into that shop and find the other key to my Dad's old Ford. He's been on me for losing that thing for 30 years. Another great video. Cheers!
This was a good one guys, it's great to see someone showing off my local area. I liked the way you used Sonja in this one, minimal, but well placed and hilarious. Keep leveraging that. Music was good too as was the well placed fishing and maintenance segments. Shame the visibility wasn't great for the snorkelling takes. @sailinginnerbloom Josh, I think you got the right mix of fun and work in this one even if that's not yet been figured out in real life haha.
A few handy things to keep on the boat, a roll of rigging wire, swaging tool (and swages), decent bolt cutters. How far behind are your videos? Do you have a fb page, unfortunately unable to contribute via patreon but will follow with interest. Cantgo far wrong with a Joe Adams design. Cheers.
Hey John, thanks for the tips there. We have plenty of spares that need sorting out. Bolt cutters are going on the shopping list, we do have a battery grinder on board. Space and weight is a consideration but will look into what you mentioned. Our videos are a bit behind! We have been having a lot of fun having some great adventures so playing catch up at the moment. We will be making a Facebook page for those eager to follow along. We haven’t settled on doing Patreon but may set up a PayPal for anyone that wants to contribute and help us keep sailing. Cheers mate, Josh
So true! If only I had the space… the electric skateboard is my ‘work horse’ used for carting all things that I can’t be bothered carrying which I think the one wheel may struggle with. Cheers, Josh
Well I have to say the mud was very nice !
That was fun and some lovely spots to drop the hook. Thanks for sharing.
Stoked you enjoyed it!

Nice light show. With a steel hull, do you guys weight enough that the swell doesn't affect you as badly as most mono hulls?
lol, Morton bay sailing comes with mud ... but it's still worth the time.
Our deck wash has never been used as much as it has been in Moreton! Loving every second of it though, cheers guys!
