    Hey Rich, Rich here. Trackers are great with DSLRs, I use mine when travelling. It's the Fornax LT2, expensive and overkill for wide angle MW landscapes, but I love it. 1" tracking accuracy too!

    Hi Rich, Thanks for the review. I've used the MSM and Nomad trackers and enjoy them very much. They are simple to use and lightweight.

    Hi Rich. Another great video. Thank you! What is the expected battery life? I know the camera/lens weight will impact battery life.

      Thanks! I believe about 5hrs., but I'm waiting for confirmation on that.
      Confirmed with MSM that the battery life is 5-6 hours on a full charge.

    Hi Rich, how does it align in Southern Hemisphere?
    Southern Cross way ?

      Yep. They also have a phone holder where you can use one of the apps in the store to polar align.

    From your video, if you want to take for example a 4 minute exposure, you open your shutter during 4 minutes. But from the name of the device : Move, Shoot, Move, I thought you could open the shutter for a shorter time, let's say 30 sec then stack them during post-processing just like when you shoot circumpolar without a tracker.

      @DeepSpaceAstro  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can absolutely do that. The main idea is you can now shoot longer exposures. Whether that's a single image, or multiple that you intend to stack is up to you.

    Nice video! I still use my iOptron star tracker from I don't know how many years ago with ~3lbs weight limit.
    Nomad looks cool and very good work with the processing!

      Thanks Naz! Still lots to learn, but I'm having fun with it!

    Ha ha ha two months ago I spent almost all weekend trying to blend a sharp foreground in front of beautifully stacked Milky Way image with GIMP 😩🤭 ... there was a tree and a little shed in the foreground, really liked it, but a pain if your not familiar with GIMP at all ... but I did finally somehow got it together! But since then I choose easier foregrounds 😅! I'll get back to you if the clouds decide to give me a glimpse at ATLAS! Consider this: The foreground and the stars moving in different directions and in between a comet that moves in a third direction! Siril and my MacBook will blow up 🤣! I kind of got the comet-thing together, but this low over the horizon? At the end I will probably stick to getting a pretty single image ... thx for the video, really tempting!

      🤣 That will definitely be a challenge! Good luck!
