Thanks for the video. I have been looking at that same set up. Was concerned about it being too LOUD. THAT I WONT BE ABLE TO HEAR THE RADIO ON THE INTERSTATE...lol .. I'm sold on it now thanks
I have a coupe midpipe and a completely gutted stock muffler on my 2003.5 g35 sedan and it's still not that loud. I was expecting it to be a lot louder, even running open Y pipe before installing the midpipe wasn't as deafining as I expected. I'm the cabin exhaust noise just doesn't really enter the sedan, I'm going 3 inch all the way back soon.
correct, stillen made 2 versions of their exhaust for the g35 sedans. they both add the same amount of hp gains, the first gens are louder (i guess people complained about it?) but the second is a lil quieter yet its suppose to give the G note a lot of people like to hear but a lil louder.
Is it proven that Stillen adds the most HP gains out of the other catback systems that will fit a sedan? I was going to get Stillen for its HP gains which is what I mainly want but I want a nice sound as well.
It has a throatier deep end to it. But I would not buy these just for the sound and 2hp gain. I would do it to replace the existing exhaust system for stainless steel. Anyhow, good upgrade, I can tell this guys really takes good care of his G and is hesitant to drive it hard.
@flyboy333 the install itself wasnt that hard, some nuts are hard to take off so make sure to use some pb blaster a day or two before and spray it as much as you can, 1-3 sprays would do.
@MyRaceChannel This is surely an 05 sedan.. I want to know where you bought this front lip? I have an 03 and my front bumper needs to be changed.. I'm pretty sure that bumper (05 sedan) will fit bolt-on. But if I do things in that order..I need to put that front lip too, it's just perfect and so more classy than these big ugly aftermarket bumpers...
Lol the guy has to keep saying "c'mon man" cause hes barely even revving it. if you're gonna do a sound test for an exhaust you gotta rev it like a man.
how did you do sorta a burnout at the end? i thought the g's had something that prevented them from losing traction when not moving.. because i know for sure i cant in my 03 sedan. only when its moving will it spin

The y pipes is ridiculously tuff🔥🔥🔥
This is an awesome video. I have a 05 G35X AWD Sedan and I'll definitely go for the STILLEN Gen 2 Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System.
sounds better without the muffler
It does
Thank you for this video! Just got a coupe mid and I think that will be all I need
Hell of a driver you got there, you need to open her up man!!!

Alright thanks! I was looking at the Megan racing OE RS but not sure If it will give me HP gains or just sound.
Where you got the Lip on the trunk?

@LethalStick97 agree! stock sound really good to me ,
Just got the Stillen exhaust for my G35 sedan and I'll be putting up a sound clip on it soon so stop by to check it out.
Your videos are private bro I wanna see your g
Actually the normal take off sounds pretty good at the lower RPM but not sure about it when in the higher RPM.
I have a g35x same color as this one. I also have stillen exhuast. how do I make it a bit louder and throatier sound
Will be posting a video soon I got a 2003 G35 sedan with dual Stillen Xpipe
Did you end up doin it?
@@lionkingsmilk1211 didn’t post it up sold car long ago
There is traction control and stability control, my dads g37x sedan won't break loose from a stop unless i whip around a corner lol.

That is very quiet, how hard was the install?

I have a 05, a 35X tho so all weel drive need it for when it snows, i say hell yes its worth it can't wait till i can sart modding it.
Maybe he's babying it because he likes his car, and tries to take decent care of it. If you don't like it, don't watch it, post a better video...
i'd be pissed with that exhaust sounds quieter than stock
This look like a 05-06 ?
@flyboy333

the reason its quieter is cuz i think you got the gen 2. good choice though cuz the gen 1 is super loud apparently.
Nice comment, Rev like you got a pair.
I miss my coupe
Is this a Gen 2 or the original version?
sounds great.
Nice car, driver needs to commit to it !
Do you feel any performance gains or stillen bullshit?
wat did this cost?
actually it didnt, it cost me $400. previous owner had it on for 2 months.
and no this doesnt sound anywhere near stock or coupe midpipe like.

such a stealth mod hahaha looks like she hangs a little low though. and scraping issues?
automatic tho? but all in all i like the deep sounds tone.
wtf is this driver he probs drive a prius
I know why the caged bird sings!
You should straight pipe it
Should of removed the Resonator like me haha. Cost me $40!!!!!!! SO remove yours if you want it louder!
kinda lame man, stock almost sounded louder! I bet it was like $1000 too.
Dude...Get on it! Why are you babying it? Floor it!! And that was saddest attempt at a burnout I've ever seen...AWFUL!!!!!
Thats it!!.. It's a nice site..Thanks a lot ;)
