It’s amazing the tiles stayed on! Do you have a some sort of tool or machine to help with getting off the plaster? Oh oh. Mold, if there , not fun. Thanks for sharing.
Greetings Stefano ! As we are getting closer to a project with Davide, could you share on appliance costs ? I know that most properties have no kitchen in place. And are you finding it hard to get contractors in Galatone ? Good luck and thanks.
So far I've had Salento with Love handle any contract work. I haven't started any work on the kitchen, or needed any appliances yet. To get an idea of minimum costs, you can build a kitchen on ikea.it and use that as a starting point. There are plenty of appliance and kitchen design stores, so you have lots of options. Use Italian words and search Google.it for stores and prices.
Been watching a lot of your videos tonight, great stuff! Quick question if you don’t mind..how is it working with local artisans and do you find them helpful when asking for advice on diy or do they dislike people doing their own work?
I haven't interacted with the trades that much. I've learned most of the work from previous projects, and I've watched endless hours of YT videos in Italian by Italian tradesmen to figure things out. YT videos are a great way to learn "construction" Italian, btw!
Been watching your videos great job. Planning to visor Galatone this March. Any leads as to the transport there. How do you get to Galatone the best route from Brindisi. Any good places to stay in the city. Your thoughts much appreciated
Hello.Stefano, are the streets of Galatone hilly or fairly flat ? I need walkable ! Your videos make the central area appear to be relatively flat and easy walking. Is that correct ?Thanks again...checking on appliance shops...
It's looking better already 👍
Thank you, I'm getting there!
Where are you? No more vlogs? We miss you!

I have a hammer drill with a chisel bit which I used on the plaster, but it was deafening and dusty. Did most by hand!
@@CasaStefano ohhhhh that would loud! By hand, guess it’s a good workout.

Well, at least this was relatively easy. I’m sure there will be many other things that will be more difficult to balance it out. 😊
You know it! Getting the old plaster off was murder.
