Kid is SICK ( I have seen many kids that simply know "tricks" on guitar but not really a handle on song craft just mimicking what others have played before them , and I have played professionally for 20 years) - This kid has got it! Very Original style
IMHO. This kid has more talent than moast. And EVERYONE that plays has their own style. If any one says that slapping strings and keeping beat on the body is not talent. IMHO they are probly VERY limited by their self imposed ideas. I am offended for this kid. The time, commitment, and sacrifices this guy has made ESPECIALLY at such a young age is beyond admirable. Shame on ANY one who would belittle such an admirable trait that most adults would be hard pressed to come close to.
Hey! Appropriately take an appropriate thing and appropriately stick it in an appropriate place for appropriately appropriate (AND I MEAN REALLY REALLY APPROPRIATE) thing . Okay? : ) ...This guy was great!
It's not the point behind the music, otherwise he would've thought it through and changed that. Most music with a climax has either vocals or is supposed to betray a point beyond aesthetic, which I think was the main point behind the piece. It didn't need a climax, and adding one would feel inappropriate.
dude it kinda is...its a fascinating technique but after a while its a very useless one and lacks versatilty....(believe me ive seen this guys videos SO many times
Actually, you're stereotyping music too much. I play piano, and I'm very advanced. It's my ambition and a really good talent. Beethoven, Bach, and rachmaninoff have climaxes that will throw your socks off. And vocal songs, modern music, DON'T have climaxes, at all. They just repeat whatever the chorus is, and if they do have climaxes, then they aren't very big. They're usually just a solo, and/or lasting a measure. And this song DIDN'T have a climax, which made ir boring to that person.
Hearing it after almost 4 years and still giving me goosebumps
4 years?
This guy is my idol. I want to make music just like him.

Actually he has talent, and quite a lot of it RIGHT NOW. He's a tapper. So what. Many paths lead to virtuosity. He's got IT.
Young Tim Reynolds, amazing man

Sounds great. He should give a Stick instrument a try.
Ben Slapps, i would say.

He's hot.

Someone's been listening to Ewan Dobson.
@dakuyaki Yeah, you are.
I feel like the song needs to go somewhere...like, climax. but his songs never do. like, something that you don't expect.

Chuck noris
Produced by Chuck Land? All you did is freaking record him playing lol.
Yes, I can play the guitar well, bass, piano, and I don't have a girlfriend.
Yeah, it's called the guitar playing technique.
Actually, this song does have a climax. It crescendos until he slaps the strings. But it just has too much repetition.
Why is that even spam? Just his opinion.
Man it's a shame this young man doesn't read notes, he would be so good. I doesn't matter though he was born with guitar skills ;)
Good pickin'! Now wipe the finger smudges off your guitar. :)
NO YOU'RE A TOWEL
Excellent but sound engineering not quite. Thanks though.
Do NOT follow any other suggested videos besides Ben, they all seem very mediocre.
