  • @JudgeDrey

Brad Gillis was probably my first biggest influence in wanting to learn guitar. My buddy game me a copy of "Speak of the Devil" and I was like 12 at the time and just blown away by the sound of that live guitar even though I had no clue who it was. Years later when I started playing in a band and covering Black Sabbath songs, I couldn't help myself but play the Brad Gillis versions that I loved so much! I LIKED IT!
After reading the so called "history" of the making of this album, It was way off what the official story went.

I got to see this tour with Brad Gillis, and I had forgotten what a great job he did here. Taking Randy Rhodes place is a nearly impossible feat, but Brad did a great job in a really tough situation. What an excellent player he is!

Goofy question. Was this recording "fixed" in the studio? There are times when the guitar seems like it has a light double-track where the left is slightly different than the right channel. eg. Just before 2:47, there is a whammy dive that doesn't appear to exist in the right channel of the audio.
