Brad stepped up 👍
I see Ozzy doing an impression of Joe Biden walking as he rocks this song
Does anybody even fathom the talent in this line up?
How is it that the sound from analog systems of 40+ years ago sound better than today’s digital?
The ‘80’s had the best big rock stage scenery
Do you know what year this was recorded?
So fender stratocaster not for heavy metal TAKE THAT!!!!!
It’s a shame Ozzy treated Brad like shit for the whole tour. Brad worked his ass off on very short notice to get show ready. To be fair, Ozzy was heartbroken and drunk all the time.
Hear me out.. a movie based on Ozzys band life...played by Jack Black...
Pretty wild seeing Rudy Sarzo up there with Ozzy and Brad. 🤘
Rudy was selling it boy 😂. Brad stepped up and learned Randy’s stuff in just a few days. Thats not really that easy 😅. But Brad ended up leaving because he didn’t want to deal with Ozzy and Sharon. Smart move. Look what happened to Jake.
Why is the other video of this same live version not showing up? Thanks for having it up.
Gonna meet Brad today
Круто!!!!!🤟🏻
Ozzy’s voice is like if an angel cried ( also ozzy looks like a 4 year old looking for his mom here 😂😂😂)
Brad was the best man for the job at that time obviously we would rather have Randy but under the circumstances Brad gillis did a 10 out of 10 in his playing and performance.
Very good!!! How do you like my solo?
Brad did good.
Оззи великолепен!
Dude, Rudy’s pounding that bass like it had sex with his sister lol What an animal…great player, too
It was the moment that Ozzy realizes that he can go on he had to please the fans
Whoa, is Ozzy really singing this? It sounds exactly like the recording. Wahi' Valleys
louquissímo
A primeira vez que vi esse cara tocar foi numa reprodução de dvd em um festival no Castelo do Rock em São Luís-Ma. ainda não tinha visto uma intensidade na guitarra com gosto e vontade de tocar igual.
Playing The Who to a Uk Audience takes balls, but KISS has huge ones-
Боннет здесь выше всех похвал, звучит в мозгу при любом упоминании о нем!
amazing! i've seen this cover in the past but not with this super good sound quality!! thank you
Just heard Brad play this with Night Ranger. He's even better now!
Goofy question. Was this recording "fixed" in the studio? There are times when the guitar seems like it has a light double-track where the left is slightly different than the right channel. eg. Just before 2:47, there is a whammy dive that doesn't appear to exist in the right channel of the audio.
Thank you for this. I saw them on this tour in Phoenix with Mark Culick on guitar and Eric Carr. Eric Carr pounded the drums. What a power house he was. This was the last song of their encore. They rocked it. Wasp opened for them, they kinda sucked. No make up. Way cool.
Who is Mark Kulick?
My mistake, that should be Bruce Kulick. th-cam.com/video/EUmhRnOrmRU/w-d-xo.html
What a Tribute . 😎 👍
Vocals are too loud (and overdubbed)
LMAO! Brad, you are a fkn BADASS! I played Bass with Brad for two (Fri & Sat @ Crolls/Alameda) gigs w/Alameda Allstars, back in the day, one of my fondest memories... Cool dude and Badass Guitar Hero.
Please tell me where I can find this video!!!!???!!!
I got to see this tour with Brad Gillis, and I had forgotten what a great job he did here. Taking Randy Rhodes place is a nearly impossible feat, but Brad did a great job in a really tough situation. What an excellent player he is!
Yeah and he learned all the black Sabbath playlist and Randy's songs in an amazing two weeks it was amazing what he did here nobody expected it either because he was playing for night ranger which they didn't expect that he could play metal that good.
great job but that strat sounds thin compared to rr les paul or his v
Randy is one of my top two all time but Brad's version here is stunning
I saw them on this tour in Lafayette Louisiana and they played this song (I also remember those lightning stares!)... it sounded great though I was only around 14 and didn't know the song at all at that point in my life. I randomly remembered this and plugged it into youtube, so it's such a trip to get to hear it again 35 years later. Is that Eric on the last verse?!?! yay!
Me too. I took my young nephews. Wasp opened for them. They were not good. KISS kicked ass. I was in my 30's. I did see them in 1978 twice. I also left a comment above. kingcruze1
I saw them live in 1988 in the Meadowlands near NYC.
It's great audio over bad video but its still aight
Its a tough call here. Brad had little time to prepare. and he is one of the greats for sure but this just hit different. I think with more time he could have hit the bar, however he did go back to NR. I think they made sure they held Brad back to respect Randy and thats why he left so soon.
Ozzy couldn't go wrong with Brad Gillis, Rudy Sarzo (I think), and Tommy Aldridge!
he lost the key😂
Great Eric Carr voice and drummer
Yes Brad nails it but how about some props for Rudy, if I'm not mistaken!
Brad was fucking killin' it!!
Brad Gillis was probably my first biggest influence in wanting to learn guitar. My buddy game me a copy of "Speak of the Devil" and I was like 12 at the time and just blown away by the sound of that live guitar even though I had no clue who it was. Years later when I started playing in a band and covering Black Sabbath songs, I couldn't help myself but play the Brad Gillis versions that I loved so much! I LIKED IT! After reading the so called "history" of the making of this album, It was way off what the official story went.
What a great cover 🤯
Brad looks comfortable and he’s moving more than Randy
