@datolomia How could you not be a fan of Dany. She's if not the best one of the best characters in the series. The way GRRM has had her grow throughout the series is phenomenal. She's the most dangerous character. While Petyr is quite dangerous, he's not a leader.

WOW! What a great Dany tribute! The music is PERFECT- it sounds like a blend of both European (like Westeros) and Eastern (Near East , Middle East) themes...which suits Dany oh so very, very well!
I am only about a quarter of the way through the first book for my first time. However I must say this caught Danny perfectly. And I had already figured those Dragon eggs would hatch, the pictures I see hear just make me excited to read it further! Good Video!

from the second that little choir came in, i got chills! an awesome song for dany amazing artwork, and you put it all together quite nicely =) i've only read the first book, though have an idea of what happens in the others (i have a bad habit of purposely spoiling things for myself) dany's pretty interesting so far, but i currently find myself as more of a stark girl. we'll see what happens when i can finally get those sequels

@norriswa1 Those 3 words alone makes everyone believe Jon is in fact Lyanna's child.. No one believes it really meant she was begging Ned to bring her body back to Winterfell.. Although, you never know.. Guess we'll find out soon.. Personally though, I think it would be a nice welcome surprise to find out Jon is Rhaegar and Lyanna's Son.. That would mean the throne is rightfully his, which will definitely enhance this great epic story tenfold. :) I can't wait for the next book!

@norriswa1 I actually did some research on this theory, like an obsessed dork, lol. It's "possible" that Jon is the offspring of Rhaegar and Lyanna. However, Lyanna died on 284 AL and Jon was born on 283 AL.. If Lyanna conceived Rhaegar's child, someone would have found out other than Eddard and Howland Reed, as they obviously would be the only ones to "supposedly" know the truth.. To me, it just doesn't make sense, but it is possible. Lyanna did say "Promise me, Ned"
@Fuleadeare I don't believe it will happen that way.. Eventually, Howland Reed will reveal the the long hidden secret that Jon is Rhaegar and Lyanna's son.. And that they were secretly married which will make Jon the rightful ruler of the realms.. Perhaps Jon will end up marrying Dany, "his sister" and they both will end up ruling together.. Just a theory I have. :)

@norriswa1 That is definitely plausible. It makes sense they were protecting the Heir. However, the Kingsguard are also bound by duty to protect the King and Queen at all times. It makes me wonder why Willem Darry, the 3 Kingsguard men, Lyanna, baby Jon, and the children didn't all leave for Braavos together. Now that I have been researching this, It's likely Jon is Lyanna's. We'll find out from Howland Reed soon enough, since he's the only person alive that knows the truth..
The Targeryans are weird this way...but what do you think of Aegon, if he is truely who he says he is doesn't he have the best claim to the throne? Being Rhaegar's legit son. Anyway if this goes this way he will STILL be married to his aunt. I just wish GRRM would just finish WOW.
@djtimowdjmartyn What? Where or how did you come up with that??? Honestly, that would be awesome to see Jon and Daenery's get married, but there's almost 0% chance of that happening.. If anything, I think Stannis will end up marrying Daenery's after his wife is mysteriously killed.. Benjen will be found and I believe he'll be the new Lord of Winterfell.. I don't believe Jon will leave his post as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
@lancerjah Very little of what Dany has done was because of her own strength and wit. She's had a good run, but she's been extremely fortunate. Illyrio gave her the dragon eggs, gave her Khal Drogo, gave her the ships to go home, and other men fought her battles and gave her ideas as how to execute everything. I'm sorry, but that's just riding on the Targaryen name. Jon, Tyrion - these are characters that actually had to prove themselves to survive.
but what of crazy ass incest of the targarians. it seems that Dany is the only sane one of the bunch and marrying jon will just kill the thing with Drogo, though he is dead. I think her and jon will meet but he won't fall in love with her or her with him.

Anyone who thinks she is blameless as the Meereenese knot is intricate forgets Dany was the one who let it be that bad in the first place. She should never have stayed to rule, but left some of her more trusted men rule the cities she conquered under her name, gaining the wealth to take Westeros. She didn't

Baratheons are called "stormlords". Daenerys is called "Stormborn" because she was born when a terrible storm was falling in Dragonstone. It was so powerful that all of Aerys' ships were destroyed.
@datolomia Fortune plays a great role inf being a successful leader. I doubt these so called greater minds could even fathom what she has accomplished. They were merely hoping to ride on the waves of the power of her name. Sure she get's hand outs but she doesn't waste them and takes full advantage of them. Granted, she's not a puppet master but she get's the job done effectively and efficiently.
@LadyLyanna what I think is that she is gonna fall in love with Jon Snow (Targaryen maybe) when she goes and fights the white walkers and since he died he wont be breaking his vows as a sworn brother (this all depends if Melisandre pulls a Beric Dondarion on him) if not well then I highly doubt a Stark will take the Iron Throne or if the Kingdoms will separate

Meh, Daenerys is mediocre at best. The Hound, Cersei, Tywin and Tyrion are far superior, in terms of character, to Dany.
