Yes I think there's a different modelling culture in Eastern Europe, expecting people to do more themselves. I will approach the build with that in mind. Perhaps I will try to get the strut angle from the box art and make a few "jigs" to help out. There is certainly room for scratch-building extra bits.
It is sort of a mixed bag a bit like some of the old kits we could get in the 70's but with more detail.

@@Payne2view I think it is my type of model, one you can build to the detail level you want (basic or full on scale).

This is the reissue, back in a day this kit contained resin and etched parts
I don't mind it just being plastic. I'll make of it the best I can, when I get around to it.
