It’s like a breath of fresh air seeing normal everyday people such as you riding and enjoying life. I know these are older videos but I hope to see some more up to date in the future.
What a pleasant surprise to be able to spends some time with you on a Sunday afternoon. I've truly missed following you on your Two Wheel Adventures. Hope this means that you'll be doing more of this in 2024. Happy New Year!
Oh WOW! Y’all are riding the path that my son and I are planning for this summer. We are leaving Sterling Colorado to Reno as an Iron Butt ride. Two days there in Reno to rest after that 1,000 mile ride. Then over to the Golden Gate north on the 101 to the Columbia River Gorge. Then back east to Sturgis for the 5th time. Maybe two weeks ride and maybe my last long ride. Between age and health maybe it’s time to just go fishing.
Thank you for your work creating and sharing your adventures! My wife and I love watching and we get so much information and inspiration from watching your videos!
After 42 years in the PNW, I moved south to sunshine. I enjoyed this video so much, seeing familiar places. I drove back up a few months ago and my daughter and I toured the Peninsula (by car) and camped in a few different state parks. What a wonderful time we had! My all-time favorite campground is in Deception Pass State Park on north Whidbey Island where lots of family memories were made. A life of exploration and adventure is a life well-lived. Thanks for taking me along for the ride.
I'm a new subscriber and so glad I found your blog. I sold my FLH years ago because I did not feel safe on the roads. You are convincing me to rethink my decision. Your videos of the areas you visit are spectacular. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so happy that y’all are back! I have missed y’all greatly. I still think of meeting yall on the Blue Ridge a year or so ago. It was pure joy to find y’all that day.
I'm surprised we didn't run into you guys this summer. Me , my wife and the dogs camped and toured that Area this past summer, 2023. We camped in the Dungeness State park for 6 days. Beautiful part of the country.
I’ve missed you. What a treat to enjoy your adventure in the dead of winter when the next riding season seems so far away. Thank you so much for putting this together for us!
I just realized why I enjoy following the two of you. You are very much like another couple that I follow in England. Bryan and Caroline known as Bunny King Hogs. They go all over England and Europe and Caroline gives interesting info about the areas that they ride through along with detailed historic bits of info. They are temporarily in South Africa right now.
Well hello there strangers!!! Hope you are both doing ok.. I noticed you limping bad on another vid I watched recently when you helped them out trailering their gold wing. Good on you both for helping out . Look forward to seeing more of your vids this year 2024. Love and best wishes from England UK. 🇬🇧🙏👍
So glad you guys are back. I've missed watching you. Plus your videos are so informative and interesting. Glad your back. Be waiting for your next one. Be safe! Enjoy life!
That was a great video. It is so pretty in the PNW. We are about to have our first winter storm here on Tuesday and then it continues for the next several days with more snow and cold temps. We have been lucky so far this winter but that is about to change here in the Midwest. Thanks for taking us along.😊
Howdy to the both of you! I trust this series will lead up to your decision to temporarily? end life on the road and return to "sticks and bricks" life. I have thoroughly enjoyed your journey from the very beginning. I am curious, though....which mode of travel was the best....all things considered. You started out with a cargo trailer, then moved to Ruby (tent camper), then a flatbed truck pulling a camper, and finally as minimalistic as possible with a return to tenting. I have just retired and am seriously considering hitting the road full-time as every day is now Saturday. I realize I need more creature comforts than in my younger days and would like to have your rear-view mirror look on the pros and cons of each mode of living day-to-day. Maybe just some highlights comparing each year? I'm old enough to know better, but young enough to learn from other's mistakes. I was truly saddened to see your journey interrupted, but happy to see that you're doing well. Thanks for everything....and Shiny Side Up!!!
@jonathonscott7776 That's some great questions and I would be interested in hearing what they have to say about those things myself I hope they see your message and make a video about it
So glad to see you two out on the open road again. Please keep them coming. Stunning area. Absolutely marvelous motorcycle country. See you again I hope.
Richard and Chris so glad to see your videos again! Love watching you guys make your way acroos the United States. Stuck in the bad weather here in Chicago just waiting to get back on two wheels. Keep the shinny side up, be safe out there guys.
Chuckanut is a great ride! When we were living/working on San Juan Island, we'd put the scoots on the ferry and "go to America", ride Chuckanut, swing by the bookstore, have lunch, do a little grocery shopping (without the island prices), then head back to the ferry. Thanks for posting videos again!
Hey Rich & Chris. It was nice of them to put up a memorial wall for the riders. Chuckanut Drive...We had the pleasure of riding it on our 4 corner tour. Shhh...Moto Travels told us about it. Loading that bike on the trailer brings back memories lol. Love the wooded campground, very nice.
Chuckanut Drive is such a popular ride, lots of 2 wheelers, powered and pedal. Lots to great places to grab lunch in Bellingham. The Deception Pass Bridges are another tourist spot as you discovered and on either side there are places a mile or so short of the bridge that you can get access to the beaches via parks. The Coupeville to Port Townsend Ferry and the road to Forks and around the Olympic Peninsula is another great ride and it’s easy and accessible for a weekend ride. Thanks for the “new” videos, I hope all is going well with your new home and the land you bought a while back. Looking forward to seeing more. Best wishes for 2024.
Hello TWBL from John and Caroline!! We have missed you and are like everyone else... glad to see you back! We spent so many Sunday nights looking forward to your video. We have enjoyed meeting you out on the road and will watch to see what you two are up to in 2024. Safe travels! J&C 🍀The GST
I follow quite a few moto vloggers, Love to see the travels and adventure of others and take their experieces and plan my own. TWBL was one of our first channels we subscribed to. Just the flow of your content, laid back feel and the history and anecdotes of the places you guys visit kept my wife and I glued to your channel. When the videos stopped, we were sad but know full well how life goes and things we must do. This morning, I happend to notice your 2 uploaded videos. Made my day!!! So great to see you guys, feels like home. Cheers
I haven't really spent any time in the PNW since 1978 when I was stationed at Ft Lewis. I'm taking a trip up there this summer and will make sure I bring a bag of nuts with me so I have something to chuck! 😂
I’m curious as to what camping equipment y’all are using now? I see the Harley is back in service. I think inquiring minds would like to know and see how you’ve restarted. I personally loved the pop up tent thing but sure understand and agree the changes you made. Great to see you both back on the tube.
Welcome back! I've been hitt'n the hwy myself since 2021 on my Goldwing DCT and bound to run into you guys someday, happy trails and be safe....Javi G.
Through the years watching you have been inspirational - helped me decide to commit last year ride to the Arctic Ocean, so I did, and thought of you often! 🤗
@10:00 Richard says can't find it on the GPS ! I get that a lot and instead of finding an address and typing that in painfully on my Garmin I simply bring up the map and pin it. It will ask you if you want to nav there and boom your done, much quicker. Also happy to see another, rare these days, video from you guys. rsm8
I'm happy to see that you two are back and traveling. I'm looking forward to your next video and Meaney more. I see that you are tent camping and not with a trailer, so does that mean that you will only be traveling for a couple of month at a time? cheers from NZ.
It's been at least a year since I've watched any videos from you two. I thought you were set on settling back down into a house ? We have a coincidence we share. I live in the Atlanta area, and last August I took a motorcycle trip to Seattle to visit my son. While there, and while he worked one day, he suggested I ride up to, guess where, Chukanut Drive. The area is so beautiful, and of course the same day I had to ride over to Deception Pass State Park.... Of course I picked the worst time to travel out west from Atlanta. It was over one hundred degrees going through Kansas, as well as Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. So by the time I got to Everett, Washington where my son lives and it was 91 degrees, it felt comfortable. Coming back I took Route 2 out of Everett going east and stayed on it all the way till I got to Montana.
You’re in my neck of the woods. Love your videos. If you’re ever in Silverdale, Wa, let me buy you guys lunch. Also, in Forks is a cool little campground called Cycle Camp. The owner is really nice and really caters to motorcyclists.
When I see warning signs aimed at motorcycles, it usually means the surface is not good for traction. In Texas right now, the roads are being rebuilt all over the place, right in the middle of riding season.
Oh, I loved Whidbey Island when I lived up there! You should read up about how back in the 80's, the Arian White Supremists tried to hold a rally at the National Park on the North end of the island and all the island residents took their guns and blocked the road and wouldn't let them in the park! Hope you visited Port Author there where the ferry lands too.
It’s like a breath of fresh air seeing normal everyday people such as you riding and enjoying life. I know these are older videos but I hope to see some more up to date in the future.
Yea, you're back!!
Great to see you!!!!! And in my state!

What a joy to retrace trips from years ago. I remember picking blackberries along the coast south of there.
Happy New Year.

We travels there 30+ years ago also. Got lucky no rain both time in the area.
Another top video!
Glad you like them!
They are improving the culvert so salmon can more easily swim up stream to spawn
It is great to see this
Welcome Back.
Did you guys start out from AR
