Good idea. Just another work around that is necessary to correct for poor engineering. I thought the EW Pro was a "Weeble" that went into motion anytime you accidentally touched the volume antenna. I built a solid pedestal out of a fiber fence post with a wood base like Peter Pringle did for his to make it rock solid.

Although the EW Pro is far less idiosyncratic than the Claravox, it definitely has the "Weeble" factor. It turned out (in my case) that the plastic sleeve up inside the base of the Pro (where the proprietary stand's notched tip would lock into the bar across the slot) was insufficiently glued in. The result was that the sleeve never stayed stationary. So, if I brushed it, the Pro would spin slightly - totally insecure. I attempted to remove the sleeve in order to glue it back in, but was unable to get it out.

@@dnteuxurois Well at least mine still plays well after all these years. Can't say I'm happy with the Vox.

Good evening Sir, can I save my changes in Theremini without the Editor? Thank you!

I'd like a little clarification: since this is a video about the Claravox, are you talking about the CLaravox? Or, are you indeed talking about the Theremini? If you're talking about the Theremini, the Editing App would be absolutely necessary if, by "save my changes" you are referring to customizing your own presets and then porting them over to the Theremini. Without the Editing App, the only changes one can make on a Theremini are limited to the FX and Presets. Nothing can actually be saved as part of the firmware.
If you are talking about the Claravox, you can experiment with all the waveform controls and delays, etc., You can eventually find a sonic character that you like and would like to save. To do it, a) you create the sonic character you like, b) you select a preset on your preset knob that has nothing associated with it, then c) you push the button directly below the knob to save what you created. However, I must tell you that the results are inconsistent - I've found that what happens is that the sonic parameters you created and saved will be fine until you shut the machine off. When you turn it on again, calibrate it, and then access the preset with the parameters that you created, it's very possible that the preset will sound very little like the parameters you set. Why this happens in a mystery.
I hope this helps. If I've misunderstood the problem, please let me know.
