That is ridiculous. How do you crash OVER the bridge and only end up with a broken leg. I mean yeah, that in itself is bad but it could have been SO much worse.
Relaxing your body when you're falling will minimize your injuries. He/she probably knew that, which probably saved their life and resulted in only a broken leg
I was born with brittle bones so I’ve had a lot of painful fractures, first one at 3 months old. I can tell you these drugs save you from a hell of a lot of trauma! I’ve had realignments/splints done with just paracetamol before, and I would not recommend. It might seem backwards but I pretty much only remember the bad ambulance rides or ER visits. The ones where I was given ketamine or morphine I’ve forgotten because I never had to be fully “present” for realignments or splinting. I can assure you that man will be eternally grateful that they gave him ketamine before touching his leg!
HEMS teams and the RNLI don't want government funding. As a charity they have full say over how the money is spent. They wouldn't be able to do this if they were government funded.
I suffer from PTSD from my brother's incident, he fell backwards on to pavement. Luckily he was in the hospital for a week....but he suffered a blood clot at the stem of spinal cord, lower skull fractures, a spine fracture......a whole year of being out of school and my sanity. He completely walked away , but I have sadly, have not...I was the one whom asked him to help me finish this project.....I was the one whom took the fall.

My doctor wanted me to use Ketamine for my chronic pain. After researching it and finding out if you miss a does you can have bad side effects. So I said no thank you.

Just think if the British government didn't spend taxpayer's money on the crap they are they could put money into the helicopter and RNLI

@@Mk1Male There are 171,476 words currently being used in the English language and that is the best one you could come up with. Sad.
@@MrJking065 It's not sad. It's apt.
they mask the patient lmao
🐠🤘😁
Whats with the masks FFS 😷
They are literally healthcare workers who have been exposed to who knows what. Tell me, would you prefer them not to have one?
@@viridescent1698 Yes a bit of common sense works wonders.
I am a nurse, this was filmed a year ago when masks were still worn. In my hospital we only stopped routinely wearing them 2 months ago!
So the pilot and co- pilot is wearing a restricted surgical mask restricting his Oxygen intake and he’s fly a EC135 euro copter beggars belief
masks don't restrict airflow mate...
1- they're both female.
2 - you're thick.
I smell an idiot
oh no brain surgeons wear them when doing surgery too!
@@jamess4461 They do, actually.
