Great work! I have this HMS Hood model in my future projects stash and can't wait to get started on her. One to finish and one in the queue to complete first. I have learned a lot of techniques watching your videos. Thank you!
I am glad the videos have been helpful! You will also get to benefit from a substantially updated guide from the HMS Hood Association. Pennant51 has made a lot of very good updates to it.
You might want to inform the individual in charge of the guide that sovereign hobbies paints seems to be indefinitely closed, and therefore the most accurate paint on their paint page is not going to be available. Ship is looking great!
@@DavidsShips There are a few other companies that seem to have their own version of the color, though I am not sure how accurate they are. Tru-color paints out of the US primarily focus on railroad colors, but they seem to invest a lot of effort into accurate colors. They also produce military colors. I have some of their US navy colors. Excellent paint straight out of the bottle and they also have royal navy colors. Unsure of how available they are out outside the US however. I'll be trying out those paints when I start painting my own Hood.

That is unfortunate. Even if the paint is unavailable it is the best reference we have for the colours.
