And it IS an impersonation! Not an " impression, which are usually overdone. His Trump perfection. Every tiny detail is there, with nothing exaggerated. His Biden is perfect too, but there isn't nearly as much to work with.

If you didn't know it was James you would think it actually IS Trump...that's how good he is at his impersonation.
I've heard every episode of fly on the wall because I'm a big Dana carvey fan and I've watched SNL on and off since the '80s. James Austin Johnson is on a whole different level. You know he's good when Dana carvey it's just soaking up his impressions. I like that the veteran and the new cast member have a mutual respect for each other.
Hopefully James can get the hell out of SNL and move on to greater things.
@@pigs6486 he's doing a good job and they had a good cast but half the good people left at the end of the season. It'll be interesting to see who they pick up next season and who gets promoted.

@@pigs6486 well Saturday night live is still liked by a lot of us Blue State liberals and I do like when they bash conservatives so I guess it comes down to your political philosophy. I think woke is actually a good thing for this country and the more kids learn about it and engage in it I think the better things will be in the future. I think it's unstoppable and the worst thing it may do is create different cultures within society but that's already happening anyway.
