I’m 28, I started with my therapist at 16, honestly half the reason I go there is to have an fun intellectual conversations to the point that we’ve ended sessions on multiple occasions with him saying, I can’t bill you for this, it was too fun

Dana is the only comedian I’ve seen who has a decent Biden-apparently it’s really hard to parody Biden, so they usually just go with variation on “he’s so old!”-but here Dana shows his perfect ear and catches Biden’s inflections and affect.
I was curious when I saw Biden in the title. You never see anyone do Biden...not funny anyway, but Dana nailed it. Definitely my favorite part of this interview

SNL and Second City has produced so many great comedians and actors, and they have fostered the introductions of new types and on the edge comedic styles. Dana is one of many from the early days, so great to still have him with us.

I imagine that’s the era you were a teenager, that’s always the thing people say. Put it this way, I can’t stand Dana, I just binged his other podcast with David Spade and Dana is just obnoxious, talks over everyone, constantly trying to shoehorn in his impressions, even over the people they are interviewing, and he’s not very funny, impressions are great if you do something with them, people just laugh when he does his impression, it gets old over a couple episodes. I like him less now than when he was on snl. P.S. Spade is actually funnier than Carvey

Okay Ive been listening to The Weird Place on and off since 5a this morning. Im on episode Man Touches Globe p1. I am super surprised and loving! Its full scale…drama, suspense and the instrumentals/music throughout is high quality. The characters are funny and very distinct from each other. Dana is a one of a kind talent. I would really love to see these episodes turned into animations.
