I’m currently in the little zip wallet in Waypoint Rustic Brown, I really like it. I was in a pocket size Maverick in Golden Brown I think but it was a little too stiff for me for a wallet so it’s now set up for birdwatching (nerd alert). I like that the personal size fits a checkbook though, I currently have my checkbook in the medium pouch in the Waypoint Rustic Brown. I can’t remember what those pouches are actually called, the zippered change purse kind of things that are in the “Bags” section. The medium is actually quite large and holds two checkbooks, pens, an extra face mask, etc. I’ve pretty much decided though that right now I don’t even need to carry my checkbook with me because I’m not going anywhere. I look forward to seeing your next wallet set up.
I've been wanting to get into birdwatching! Any tips to get started? So far, I've just put a bird feeder in my yard:) I so rarely use checks that I have to wonder if I truly need them anymore. But the one day I don't have one in my wallet is the day I will need one.
@@MysteryArts I got started by going on free Audubon bird walks which are staffed by volunteers who are experienced birders. They take you on walks in great birding areas and help you spot birds. It’s really fun and there’s no expert birding pressure, it’s assumed participants are new to birding. Another fun thing is the Audubon Christmas Bird Count. From mid-December to the beginning of January people all over the US, Canada, and other countries write down the birds they see at their own backyard feeders or in certain areas designated by their local chapter that are counted by groups of volunteers led by an experienced birder. The count is like a bird census, if you participate with your own backyard birds you will be told how to submit your count. Binoculars and a bird ID book or app is all you really need to get started birding.
Etsy is always good for small makers who make custom inserts-personal size is readily available. The Kokuyo sketch books (hardcover) also fit really nicely in a personal and have fountain pen friendly paper. You can get those from yoseka stationery and maybe jet pens.
Beautiful set up! I love the wallet insert. I went to the Nissamade shop and the personal size says it only has 2 card slots on the left. Was yours a custom order? I count at least 5 on yours and love it! Thanks!
@@MysteryArts Thanks so much. Your videos have inspired me. I have a Chic Sparrow personal size on order and will certainly let NissaMade also know why I visited her shop and purchased her product! Thank you!
I wish I had known caramel was coming back in cascade it’s my favorite leather and I love the cascade! 😭 beautiful piece!
They’ve been very quiet about new additions like this-probably because they have limited quantities.

@@pagewhite61 That sounds like fun!
I love the personal size, any suggestions for where to get inserts? They seem harder to find. TIA

How would you compare the feeling of this in your hand compared to a b6 size? I've been having a heck of a time trying to choose between both sizes!
This is a very personal choice, but I feel like the B6 is too big. The B6 slim is more like a book and easier to hold in one hand.
Would it fit a checkbook ?
Yes--definitely.

Mine was a custom order-you can message the shop owner to ask about vertical pockets like this.
