- Another year has come and with it another H2Oi. This year was more out of control then any year prior and not just with the cars, but with the people, the trash and police. I can't fault the Police as thousands of essentially unwanted guests descended on this small town. I am almost positive if H2oi continues in this path that there will be no more event. But then again H2oi is so much more then just a meet on Sunday, it's the smaller gatherings, the cars cruising up and down the strip and seeing and hearing nothing but modded cars all weekend long.

Thanks man, I'm shooting on a Nikon D7000 couple different lenses, 18-105 vr kit, 14mm Nikon, and 50 mm 1.4 . Also editing on PC yes that's right, no Mac ;) Using Adobe Premiere CS6 and After effects CS6, however very little effects used mainly intro and twitch car transition. I've started getting away from the over filtered overly edited tons of effects stuff. Kinda gives me a headache now.

Watching this video makes me miss OC even more now. Really nice video dude, I'm bummed I missed this event.
I flew up from Florida again this year so wasn't able to bring my big stuff like jib crane etc. So 24" slider on a tripod for a few of the intro shots, I used a glidecam 2000 for a few motion shots, but 75% of it was monopod. And 100% of the actual show was monopod.
NIce stuff! early bird gets the worm i see with that limited gti coming out the truck. That water intro tho had me a little annoyed as it was really long. I was almost expecting a nice long movie haha.

Well it's all about what you around, what you see and what you like. A lot of these cars were booked to shoot for the video and dvd weeks before H2oi, also there was THOUSANDS of cars. Are you really surprised you didn't see one specific car in the video? Chances are it's not different, or grabbing peoples attention. Also what better then to get a certain car in a video then making a video yourself? that's how I got started some 10+ years go.

My friend has a lagoon blue mkiv rhd Jetta coupe, we have not found it in any videos from h2oi 2013. its pissing me off. The thing is fucking beautiful. This is a great video by the way, but needs a widened view. There was more than b7's and mk5's on bags at that show. The "scene" is taking away from the true passion, building something of your own...

not all of us are into that...you know you can show up anyway since not all the cars are like that. If you wait around for every fad you don't like to go away, what's the point of getting involved in the first place.
Come out anyway, you're missing WAY too good of a time being annoyed by the newest 'cool' thing. I'll never rock air ride, stretched tires, or crazy low, but d*** if I'll stay home because of it lol.
