The whole wearing skin idea comes from being alien. If they don't feel human and not comfortable how they look, it is where their normal look feels like a costume. So you can easily change costumes because it's not what is in. There's more detail but that's the simplistic idea of skin wearing, and it doesn't have to be human. It can be bear pelts, or wolves.

Ooo going by faction or concept. I like this format. Death is very important to elden ring's world, and essentially every new age comes with it's own brand of death. In a neat way however, the death processes that come after usually carry the legacy of those that came before. Even if they ideologically oppose each other.
I think out of all the videos you guys make my favorite has to be the try not to cry for the dark souls series game

At least aesthetically, the Godskins are my favorite faction lol. There’s plenty of mysteries Characters that we might see in the upcoming DLC like the twin bird, or the glowmide queen
@@diplow1 For the Godskins you have the sleep pot strategy, but here's the trick if you don't want to use that.
The hardest part is the beginning of the fight. What you need to do is play carefully, and take one out. Once you take one of them out, the remaining Godskin will start playing defensively, and the reason for that is because they are going to look for an opening to summon their buddy. You need to play aggressively during this part, because he is going to be giving you so many openings trying to summon the other Godskin. You will usually be able to kill him before they can succeed, but if they do succeed in summoning, they will usually be so close to death that it won't matter. However, if you prevent him from summoning the other Godskin, you can stand in their spawn location, and eventually they will show up anyways. At that point you can start beating on the Godskin as they are loading in since it takes them a while. There's a good chance they will be nearly dead by the time they are active. Rinse, and repeat this process until you win.
Nah, they weren't a shitty boss. They were difficult yeah but people are stubborn and refuse to be strategic. They are extremely resistant to magic, and most people who played the game early on mostly used Faith builds and the Moonveil. Took me 4 tries to beat them, and I was only using only a Shield on my shield only run on my first playthrough.
We already met Ranni, she's the gloam eyed queen. This is why I think Vaati has the most popular interpretations and not the most accurate.
To say Ranni isn't the Gloam eyed queen you have to believe there were 2 identical characters.
2 female empyrians that came after Merika chosen by a different god to overthrow her.
2 Empyrians who escaped death by separating from their body
2 women who somehow stole the rune of destined death from maliketh but then were hunted by him to get it back, after they made specific anti Maliketh weapons
2 people who employed the rune of destined death weapons to hunt and kill gods.
2 different empyrians that believe the gods should shove off into space and have no contact with the lands between.
You don't put two of the same character in one story coincidentally.

@@acrab6527ni may be a reincarnation of the queen but she isnt the original. Death was sealed away before the wars with lucaria

in some cultures, the concept of wearing the flesh of something is to become it. if you wear the flesh of something connected to god you would be that god. a parallel more modern idea is the idea of the costume, the emperor of rome would wear the costume of Jupiter and for a day he would be the body of the thunder god himself and people would call him by Jupiter. it all harkens back to human sacrifice and the wearing of skins. Check out the Golden Bough if your interested, this game actually takes alot of inspiration for it.

Well allow me to explain: That dog is infested with a disease called ,,scarlet rot" and it has caused this cute little puppy to grow some cool looking red eyes
