Personally- and I’ve seen others have this mentality too- I call Kai as Kai with the exception of when using his hashtag. I’ve noticed that unless it’s a formal interview- he always introduces himself as Kai when outside of Korea. I’ve seen txt a couple times now live and every single time he introduces himself as Kai.
I forgot to mention- you would probably really enjoy their TVXQ covers! They have done Mirotic, Hug, and Magic Castle And if you are a fan of SHINee- they’ve done a few- Replay and Sherlock 🥰
Abt the whole "there was already another Kai" thing. That was a pretty big thing when TXT were first announced, ppl were calling HueningKai just "Kai" because it was shorter and ppl didn’t know how to pronounce his full name. But EXO/Kai fans started sending hate and making fun of HueningKai on Twitter saying stuff like "well there’s already a Kai and he’s the better one" and "This is NOT Kai!" "He will never be Kai!". So basically he goes by NingNing, Hyuka, Kai Kamal, and even tho it got hate a lot of ppl still call him Kai.

@splitscreenn - thanks for ur informative comment! there are a number things i can say but i believe it would be wiser not to say anything since my face is on the internet… it’s such a shame that things haven’t changed since 2nd gen in this regard. @kr4231 yes - it’s sad that he can’t use his real name. it happened to a second gen idol as well (i don’t recall who) - he received hate before even debuting for having the name taeyang. @rubybee2180 + @wariwarrior - teen top’s fandom never goes on a power trip, gets into fights or fan wars. if only hueningkai had the same name as a tt member, he would have received a lot of love. i can say i felt the safest when i was in teen top’s fandom as a teen. the angels were so wholesome, funny and warm. & i actually feel like moa gives off similar vibe! x

She is now a pretty big influencer, model, actress and newly debut soloist. His younger sister is Bahiyyih (바히에 ) but she prefer Hiyyih (히에) is a member of the girl group Kep1er pronounced as Kepler. They were formed off an mnet survival show.

Someone explaining cognitive functions, it's so frustrating to listen to idols say "I don't believe in mbti because I got different results", mbti/myers briggs is a test where you answer questions about yourself, so even if the result might not always be accurate (for many reasons, not the right type of test, or our bias when answering), it's still gonna have some truth lol, it has nothing to do with 'belief', it's like if you say to someone that you cry easily, they're gonna tell you that you're sensitive, it's not a belief, it's just a fact, it's not that deep! XD People only have one mbti type, it doesn't change.

As you already now know about the whole "kai" thing I just wanted to add that huening kai's birth name is kai kamal huening. Kai is literally his birth name yet even just a few days ago "the other side" were fighting and calling him names unprovoked saying hybe is irresponsible for not giving him a stage name (does this even make any sense?) Before debut, the members were habitual to call him just kai it is so sad to see they had to change it. But now they call him huening kai or hueningie but sometimes mostly beomgyu calls him kai or kai-ya when he calls him.
thanks for this! i guess things haven’t changed much since 2nd gen in this regard - “the other side” still likes to go on a power trip… the fandom in question used to pick fights with angels too, calling teen top ugly etc. since i also used to be a baby and an inspirit, i can say from experience that the “power trip company” has been known to forbid their idols from befriending infinite & bap (there’s even a recent mmtg episode talking about it). bap & “the other side” debuted in the same year but bap won mama rookie of the year, so lol u can imagine the tough time babys went thru. after infinite started getting big in the us (infinite were the reason the billboard chart created a k-pop category), the company in question bought woollim and buried infinite. so i feel a lot of love and empathy for moas. i’m sorry moas and kai are going thru this. x ps. u didn’t hear any of this backstory from me. :-)

@@poetriya I watched it! You said it was from july but it was from november I thought something was wrong cause I couldn't find another one. But as I started watching it was the correct one. I loved the episode. I loved sungjong's energy, his personality (although I cannot judge his whole personality based on one video). I am glad they got to be friends (wonder how their friend is going now). I also like how things are changing (even though it is taking time) nowadays compared to the past.
It goes beyond that though, the hate he got for this is unacceptable, but that's not why he didn't debut with just Kai as a stage name. IDFK HOW THIS IS NORMALIZED IN KOREA. It would have went straight to the police in the US 😭 ANYWAYS! Huening kai is not necessarily a rapper, but he does a some of the more sing-rap parts of song. the bbyeonbin video looks fun! i’m looking forward to reacting to that, thanks so much. re bg’s sasaengs - oh poor boy, is calling idols during livestream a common sasaeng behaviour in 4th gen? re idols’ phone numbers - adult sasaengs have various professions & they network with each other (e.g. tech and telecom companies). so even if idols change their numbers the ss network knows. there are also different levels so not all ss fans are “bad” - there are ones that even kpop agencies themselves approve & communicate with during promotions. some idols also tend to exchange katalk with ss fans for various reasons. (obvz i’m not talking about beomgyu, bc idk him.) i hope hybe’s protecting the boys from the more extreme ones! one day i may be brave enough to make content explaining ss culture, if enough ppl r interested? until then, u didn’t hear this from me! x
@@poetriya Sasaengs calling idols during live stream id NOT common at all, so it was even more surprising. Talking about sasaengs IS very common so even speaking up about it would have people come together. I don't think it would be bad to make a video about it.
