That was a cool little dive into Thai culture, which I know very little about. Interesting that having the same last name means people are related. I've noticed Thai people sometimes have very long names too. Bambam is very nice, he's always given me good vibes, but he's actually funnier and more extroverted than I imagined, he seems very comfortable to be around, despite any awkwardness. I appreciate your objective and realistic commentary on male and female idols. All idols are probably very ambitious, but when they were invited on Suchwita (Suga's show), Yeonjun and Taehyun said that they were the two most ambitious guys in TXT, they are not easily satisfied. XD The wording idols use to ask for "attention, love and support" is interesting for sure, and though they indirectly ask to "stream and buy" in the context of the parasocial relationship, just in a sweeter way, there is also truth to those words as being an idol as a career means needing attention as well. We often talk about fans being delulu, but this makes me wonder how idols perception of fans can also be at times blurred and a bit confusing too, at least for some of them. That the fans aren't just people they sell their product too, but also kinda like this big family or group of people that protect them (as much as some fans can be problematic as well), especially since idols debuted so young. The small face, small head compliment is something that took me a while to even understand, like what does it mean small features, or literally a small head lol? Now I get it, it's small head/face in proportion to the body, but wow, that sounded strange to me when I first heard that. Cultural differences! XD

Sometimes I wish BamBam would offer sticky rice and bbq meat for the guest to eat with it, the taste can be a lot on its own for the first try. He’s also so gentle when he makes it haha no pounding and scraping asmr. I was also happy to see Yeonjun eating well this episode! Weight is always a tricky and sensitive topic to bring up, but I could also see the physical changes in both Yeonjun and Beomgyu this come back :( I hope that everything is okay with them and they get to eat and sleep well now that their promotions are ending. But to answer your question from the previous video, I am a 3rd gen stan and was introduced to Bts in 2017, so when Big Hit debuted txt I naturally started to stan them right away. My younger sister actually introduced me to kpop, I really had no clue about it I was so Americanized! I really have been falling down a kpop hole ever since and have just been consuming a lot of Asian content in general which I never knew was so readily available. Kpop has really helped with my identity as an Asian American. I never fully felt understood and represented in media so I suffered from a lot of inner conflicts and identity crisis growing up. (Im good now) Anyways, can't wait for the next video! I hope you're doing well and staying warm 🤍

I think what Yeonjun was talking about is specifically with the general public. Currently, girl groups dominate the charts. It’s very difficult for male groups to chart and if they do chart they do not stay long there (specifically on the kcharts) Male groups do however have much stronger/larger fandom cultures and global popularity outside of korea. I do not think he was talking financially in regards to attention. SRR was the first time TXT for example, lasted well on the charts. If you compare it to their latest album which you would think would also chart well since SRR was not that long ago- it didn’t come close to how well Temptation lasted on the kcharts. It’s why we had as a fandom had a hard time competing on the music shows against a girl group who had much stronger digitals even though I think overall we sold more albums (and luckily had better broadcast points). Without the general public- you will have a hard time charting. I started to ramble there but I hope I made sense. There was some twitter drama about this where I think people misunderstood what he was trying to say and he even does correct himself and say yeah their music did well on the chart because it is good music but there are a lot of male group music that is really good too that never make it onto the chart.

Thanks for reacting to this! I think part of the fourth-gen boy groups getting less attention thing is more about being received and listened to less by the general public. Of course, this doesn't mean they don't get attention or are disadvantaged but just want support beyond their fandoms. I do agree that it's a human thing to want to be rewarded for your efforts, regardless of position or other factors. People online kind of took his words as being mean to girl groups and acting like men are oppressed compared to women, so I think others didn't fully get what he was saying unfortunately. Sorry to ramble I just found what he said and your perspective interesting! <3

Yeah i got worried when yeonjun mention the difficult of 4th gen male group, but surprisingly i saw post that knetz are kinda agree that 4th gen female group more popular for muggle (public) And the male group known has strong fanbase. For gen public the last boy group they know are bts, exo, seventeen.. And now its new jeans, ive, lee serafim But yeah its kinda plus minus in some ways.. That was so funny, I need to watch the full things properly now, I know this interview with Jessi is iconic but only saw little bits here and there before. I can't believe that Taehyun mentioned that during the guessing game lol, takes an Aquarius to break the mold really, it's not the first time he says things that you usually don't hear idols saying. Beomgyu was hilarious too. It's funny because TXT has this good boy image (even after good boy gone bad I feel like haha) but they are actually one of the few throwing the f word in their songs and doing more daring collabs with female artist like with Anitta, when it's not just pretending to be bff dancing together on stage, but an actually rather sexy collab that could be controversial given how idols often need to be seen as pure or whatever. So it's an interesting contrast there. Your story about how you experienced racism also proves once again how racism is just so stupid and based on ignorance.

What a beautiful poem and poignant delivery. This felt very personal and I could relate to this spring cleaning process that happens after a breakup, to me that's how your poem resonated. I've been waiting for your poem when you mentioned it earlier in one of your videos. I thought it might be about Frost given the clues, and I didn't know exactly what to expect, but certainly not something so personal and intimate. Though it is a response poem to a TXT song, you have made it yours, it has your special touch. Your delicate delivery contrats Frost's harsh almost violent singing style. Your poem is both gentle and raw, both sweet and bitter. And at the same time has a very vivid imagery just like the song. You are so talented! ✨👏

I've watched this a few times since it first came out. It never fails to have me laughing in tears. It's weird to realize there have been 3 albums since already. Not sure if you're up for it, but Jessie just put out a new song called 'Gum' where she brought the watermelon gang back together a couple of days ago to do her dance challenge; heavy on the twerking. Yeonjun followed her exactly. He said he did not even know he could do it. Poor Soobin wasn't able to move in the same way, but he did his best. I don't think he felt too bad because his dance instructor said he couldn't do it either.
