Hi, thank you for the video. I've made this last night and turned out delicious. The foldings on top to close the dough were giving me a hard time. Just wondering are there any particular number of foldings you have to make? In the video looks like maybe 10-12 foldings.
Of course baozis are great but this video is no less either,it was awesome, intresting and very easy to understand that even a child would be able to make baozis after watching this video.would love to see more of your videos👌👌👌👍👍👍
Hello, your Baozi looks sooooooooooooooo perfect !! I wanna try them out, but I don't get it, do you use maida and flour combined ? Or is it just maida or flour ? Thank you so much !!
A small amount of salt won’t kill your yeast, it’ll just control its activity. When you add an appropriate amount of salt, it slows and regulates the yeast activity, which leads to a better rise and more even gas bubbles. This helps the structure of the gluten stay strong and the texture of the steam bun is better overall.
Sorry to hear that. Did you let the dough rise properly? You have to knead the dough properly and let it ferment well with yeast to get double in size. If the dough rises well then the baozi becomes soft and fluffy. Hope it helps. Thank you.
My breakfast when I was in China......thank for the recipe.

Can I freeze these before steaming them? And then steam them later on?
Can I use a mixer for the dough?
Yes, you can
Is the dough recipe the same for a baked bun?
I'm a vegetarian so I'll add veggies instead, any specific veggies that goes well with it?
You can add veggies like shiitake mushroom, celery, bok choy, spinach.
@@TastyFlavourOfficial thank you so much!

What can we use as a substitute of yeast? Can anyone tell?
You can use baking powder as a substitute for yeast.
Salt kills the yeast .How can u add salt and yeast together?
