As a fan I wish people would understand you can't run against a healthy Alabama defense. Point blank period. The only shot you have is if you have a great passing attack.
did you just say Texas Tech? They couldn't even get through LSU with Mahomes although I do think Nick Shimonek is a better passer than Mahomes. Mahomes just through the ball deep and hoped his Wide Receivers got under it against terrible corner backs. And Mahomes would get absolutely destroyed by the alabama pass rush core because of how small and bad the offensive line on Tech is. There running game? Good one. They ran against terrible teams
Oh and I go to Texas Tech so don't think I'm a Mahomes hater. He's a good qb he just needs to stop lobbing the ball in the air and make better decisions. He also didn't play against good teams at all so there's that
Scarlett O'hara So does Clemson though. With the new OC things can get a bit spicy. Bama could probably run everyplay with Bo if they wanted too and win it's the Qb Hurts being a freshman and all holding bama back

Clemson averaged 118 yards per game on the ground against Alabama's defense in the two NCGs. Not great, but not that bad.
There should always be 11 defenders around the ball. Not sure why most defenses lack that discipline.
