Very very useful video came across for me. It must be divine intervention. It is very hard to find INDIAN FOOD preparation options on youtube . All videos that we have seen are american doctors and nutritionists, so half of the items are not for us as a vegetarian meal. Well, I will list out all tips that you mentioned and I will add to what I already prepare for my husband who is taking chemo for his cancer. I do give small amount of variety items. You are so very right, he can not tolerate strong tastes that he usually loved, and appetite is very dull. So he does not feel like eating. I try to make dishes that LOOK GOOD in appearance too! Thanks so much dear. Blessings.
It's really practical and good information. Co incidentally someone , who is going through chemotherapy, already trying these or very similar recipes. Thank you for sharing it.😊
As a cancer individual and currently going through chemotherapy I am looking for a better cancer nutrition since sometimes basics life is a struggle especially with side effects. This will be helpful for better nutrition.
Having greased food and adding 1 tsp of ghee or butter for seasoning or on the top of food are different. Greased food contain loads of oil/ ghee. Anything "extra" is bad for health.
hello ma'am my father cannot digest milk so he has the prohance powder with warm water. is it okay to drink it? he is undergoing radiation therapy now and the chemotherapy will start next week.
@wellnessmunch3243 coconut water should be avoided while undergoing chemotherapy...it is the most common source of infection in these patients..due to unhygienic way of opening the coconut
Cancer patients are prone to get infection that is why special care must be given on food hygiene and proper food handling. So extra care should be taken while making the juice. Otherwise, blanching vegetables before making the juice is another good option.
blanching the vegetables, cooling them down with cold boiled water before using them, or having a big bowl with ice cubes to cool down the blended juice.

White rice and carbs are good along with vegetables, dal etc basically as a part of your balanced diet in moderation.
