If you doing a lot of Epoxy Grout, you start right after grouting. If you are only doing 30 or so sqft, I would let the Grout settle for at least 10 minutes
Grouting pebbles with Litokol Starlike evo and grout is still soft after one hour. Doesn’t seem to be right. Have you met grouts with 1 hour work time before?
I know the concern, I did have an epoxy grout not dry correctly, it stayed soft for days, was quarry tile different circumstances and factors with that one. From what you discribe i would think it's because of the pebble tile I'm assuming it may be wider gaps vs typical grout joints so may dry differently. After 3 hours it's a problem 😯
@@egformula took my leftovers in a bucket into the sunshine , it didn’t take but 5 minutes to start the hardening reaction. Pebbles are cold and took away the heat from the chemical reaction. I put two heaters into the bathroom now to warm it up. Some pros recommended. Will tell about results later…
@@egformula after one more hour of heating up the room (3 hours since mixing) I saw some hardening started. That allowed me to start the washing steps. I used Epoxy grout formula and it wasn’t hard to do. The grout was still soft enough to move around between pebbles so circular motions with a scrub pad was a must. After 3 washes it looked good. My only concern now is the strength of that grout. I left one heater running over night yesterday and going back to work today to see if chemical reaction of epoxy went all the way thru , and that floor is hard as a rock.
Good remake!
Where did you dump left over water/ cleaning solution?
Just bought some.
Question: how long do you wait after grouting to start step 3?

Talked to their representative. He claims the window is up to 90 minutes ( in colder temperatures). We shall see soon.
