Slow Horses follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 - Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes. Joining Oldman is a decorated ensemble cast including Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas (“Darkest Hour”), Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce (“The Two Popes”), and BAFTA Scotland Award winner Jack Lowden (“Dunkirk”).

We know how good Gary Oldman is. But Jack Lowdon is a revelation. They have a great chemistry on screen.
He (Jack) really has AMAZING comedic timing. Being cute as a dang button doesn’t hurt either!
Amazing series! Gary Oldman is unbelievably good and jack Lowden is a delightful surprise. Great acting, such an underrated show.

Amazing show one of the best I’ve seen in a long while
I started watching for Gary Oldman, and I am hooked on the story now. But I’m mad about Jack Lowden. If he’s not the next Bond, then there is no reason to watch the next Bond film.
He's Scottish, 34 years old just dye his hair black he's BOND.

This is one of my favorite shows. They should show these three extra features on Apple plus TV where they're interviewing Gary Oldman and Kirsten Thomas

It's a great show
When I saw Jackson and River I told myself: "Gee, those are me and my boss".
Except this guy here says "please" and thumbs up when finished the stern talk.

Lowden is incredible talent.
Love a good spy show and this show is a must see for spy show enthusiasts.
The only minor gripe is it makes MI5 look way sexier than it really is. An ex UK spy said MI5 is almost entirely paper pushing and reading reports.
Great interview but yet again, like Martin Compston from Line of Duty, I'm shocked that Jack Lowden is Scottish.
I think we need to give more respect to Scottish actors, they're unbelieveable good.

i really like this series. infact, this series and the godzilla series are what made me subscribe after my free 3months.
Every time I see Jack Lowden in Slow Horses, literally every scene now, I always think ‘Simon Pegg unavailable’ or ‘couldn’t get Simon Pegg’. Just can’t help myself. As soon as I saw the resemblance in face, voice, mannerisms.
Then it turns out he’s a Scot, and River Cartwright is just a performance. A Simon Pegg impersonation then.

yep! but fitter youger and runs like Cruise!
Simon is more of a wingman, and he's a bit old to play a brand-new recruit. River has to be a young potential 007, a born heart-breaker. Simon just doesn't have that look. Maybe for a cop in a comedy like Hot Fuzz, but the balance in Slow Horses is more humorous spy drama than dramatic cop comedy. Sexier and more realistic.

I like first season. That should have been the only season.
I like the third season most. There should be more seasons.
