Good morning oreo!!! Cats are sooo adorableee 🥰 The xeno is veeery interesting at that price point. Independent volume with physical controls on a dsp?! Wow. The DSP placement reminds me of ew300's (away from usb c connector) which iirc is supposed to reduce interference - so that's nice i guess. I still hear a kind of ringing sound when you use them near your pc setup though, but they're gone during the outdoor test. That said, the mic sounds really good! I expected PEQ memory on the dsp but I'm still relieved when you confirmed it. PEQ memory could make or break a dsp/mini dongle DACs imo The non-detachable cable is a major turn-off though, especially at this price point. My fiio ff3 (earbuds with non-detachable cable) still works well and i've had it for a few years, but i suspect that's because i only use them indoors. But xeno has its DSP unit dangling from the cable so I'm not sure if the cable would last long... A nitpick: I checked the product page and for the dsp controls they use (-) for volume up, and (x) for volume down, idk how the user experience feels like in practice but that sounds kind of confusing... If I'm relying on touch I would think that (-) would be vol down and (x) would be vol up ((because (x) can feel like (+) when you're relying on touch)) As always thanks for the review andy!
Thanks! Yes the X is the volume Up. Even without looking once you get used to it, there's distinctive feel to the touch for Vol Up sign and down sign. Cheers.
Hi Andy I got the mp145 but had a problem with the silver nozzle so I waited I liked the rose gold but still waited for the silver nozzle I have now done the dipping and am listening to the hiby fd5 mp145 combination it is fantastic you were right I like the silver nozzle the best
Hi, please take a look at Pioneer rayz pro wired noise cancelling in-ears and give a review. Also In the dongle sheet 2 budget dongles are missing, Akliam PD3 and Artti i10, both single cs43198.
Andy, do you game on a laptop to external monitor? Or do you also have a desktop? I just noticed the msi, lol. I have an aorus 15g xc and a desktop I built....oh and a steamdeck.
The gaming you see in this video was done from my MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes AMG (externally connected to 4K monitor). I have swapped to full laptop setup for everything and no longer use my PC rig
It appears that you will have to sit very still in order to prevent cable noise from coming through the microphone. That's not good. Also, it appears that the cable doesn't have a chin slider. Why not? They need to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way to reduce that cable noise, and at the very least add a chin slider to that cable.
The rustling you hear is the sound of Varg Vikernes trying to get out of Andy’s shirt What’s the power draw from the dual DACs to your phone in relation to like let’s say the X one dongle? And I just switched from android after 21 years over the iPhone so I could FaceTime my grandkids go figure. Just stared Starfield. Any tips
Starfield, it's a massive game. I have spend countless hours since it was released. My advice is to take it easy and don't rush anything, focus on Constellation quests first until you are ready to jump into Unity and became Starborn. My Starfield character that you see here is a Level 125 Starborn Venator (X), she has gone through 10 Unity cycles and I always play Permadeath (one life only). Like I said, take it easy and enjoy every moment, you will love ship building once you have funds over 300K credits (also upgrade your Pilot skills too, to unlock class C)
@@AndyAudioVault yeah I’m already working on the pilot skills. I saw a video about a class three ships that you can go and appropriate so that’s kind of what I’m working to it. Thanks.
Woi! Please be extra careful walking on the Tetris type walking path. These days pothole manhole sinkhole etc. 6:12 at this timeline you just walk pass a hole.
I haven't tried any of the ones you listed. But for me personally I use two NICEHCK MixPP 6N OCC on my Hidizs MP145 and Final Audio A5000, that's my recommendation
These look kinda unique, good video Andy. Intro with the Cat is good looking as well haha.
🙏
Love the direction you've taken with how you do reviews. The Malaysian government should pay you for promoting tourism 🤣
Lol. Thanks!

I take note on that. Thanks!
The mic sounds good but it picks up too much background noise even including microphonics.

I think IEM manufacturers should find a way to incorporate an xmems driver without a fixed cable. Fixed cable means no to many in this hobby.
Lot of static noise from the cable.
