Sirji, do we have anything that can protect the vehicles windshields when the vehicle is parked under a tree or a building? I am asking this question bcoz few months back I had to replace my cars windshield when it was struck by a small branch from the tree. The whole glass was damaged and I had to replace the same spending good amount of money. Unfortunately I don't have a stilt parking. I will be very thankful if you can help me out. sir I have a peculiar problem, I have booked Honda city sv Mt petrol variant, I paid total money for this car to dealer on 30/6/17 except insurance and insurance policy for this car I purchased from royal Sundaram online as I got 5000/- less compared to dealer. but I have not registered my vehicle as I am out of station n will be going to my native place only on 9th July when I thought of getting it registered n taking it for delivery.
but now when I searched in net I found appx 30000/- difference between sv variant and V and extra I am going to get touchscreen with camera, stop-start button, alloy wheels and front fog lights.actually show room person didn't explain me difference between sv and v variant, I found it myself through some carsites like cardekho etc.
I can pay that extra amount to dealer now is it possible for me to change the vehicle n go for v variant.
I called up Honda one to one care and explained in detail about my issue. they told they will arrange a call from the dealer. if the dealer accepts for upgrade is it possible for me to change my policy or not pls suggest me what I should do now.

Later, we have gone through some of the articles regarding the damaging effects of sunlight on cars and health. Sharing some of the interesting facts and figures with you, as follows:-
1. Parking in direct sunlight increases the rate of evaporation of fuel from the tank and you lose approximately 8-12% due to that. This ultimately reduces the car mileage and direct fuel evaporation increases the pollution.
2. It increases the rate of car aging. Heat effects the plastic inside the car, leather, car electronic systems, wiring system, ducts, hoses and AC performance.
3. It affects your health too. Car cabin temperature reaches to 80 degree C and at this temperature plastic and leather seats starts disintegrating to generate the poisonous and toxic gas known as formaldehyde. A study said that breathing (for little span) in a hot car makes you inhale equal amount of poisonous formaldehyde as a smoker inhales from 22 cigarettes.
4. Sudden exposure to 80 degree C increases the chances of Heat Stroke by 90% and if not heat stroke it will surely cause you small span headache and dizziness or make you feel vomiting due to combined effect of heat and toxic gas.

I live in Delhi where CNG available, but on highways in india, CNG not available. So, is CNG kit really benificial for me or i should remove or sale this cng kit. My monthly running is 400 to 500 KM per month. Please guide me.....
