If you do not mind the rain and Wind is your only concern you can cut small strips along the areas that are not so stretched so the wind has a pass thru, even add waterproof or duck tape to cuts to prevent tear runs. this works similar to construction vinyl banners with holes for wind.

What i care about is baseball size HAIL!!!!! i have seen what happens in some states like Texas or some other southern states where winter is crazy af. the damages from hail to your car is insane. if this product can help reduce the damage or protect the car, then is a good Idea to carry on of this in your car and a helmet cuz you gonna get hit hard on the head while installing this in a hurry
