8000 is easily worth the money to get to a 1000 horsepower I was thinking that would be about to cost to get my Z06 to 1000 from 650
it looks like it would cost around 20 to 25 that's ridiculous not a chance.

I’ve been looking for a hellcat in finally I have found a dealer with 2! I have a mint 18 rt purchased new and they only want to give me 20k but I want to keep my rt I think… the price tag is a hard swallow though

Hennessy is a rip off. Ask around in your local mopar Facebook pages. You’ll get a good lead on a reputable shop that way.
How about building a 1000hp Durango SRT, non-hellcat version? Do you have a video on upgrade path for that vehicle setup? I own an SRT durango, is it feasible to achieve 800+HP through building internals and a SC, or am I better off trading in for a hellcat? Thanks for the killer content!
SRT 6.4 engine can hold max 6-8lbs of boost before you blow it up and need to build the motor. So after you add $8k for a supercharger kit and build a motor for another $20k you're well off buying a hellcat Durango. They have dropped in the $70-80k price point now. Mine is up for sale for $82k which is a steal!
@@LextasyNation Do the Hellcat Durangos have built trans and diffs and axels? What other Stock upgrades do they have? Youre right, SRT + $30k and youre in Hellcat territory, so if the HC has upgraded driveline, could be a good idea to just upgrade. Eliminates a lot of headaches and retuning, Factory solid builds.... Hmmmm

Everything was installed my Mass Acceleration Motorsport in Charlotte NC
the car lost over 20% HP from the Motor to the wheels, why so much ? normally a AWD car lost 12 - 15% from Motor to wheel.
RWD normally looses 15%, AWD between 18-20%
@@LextasyNation Ok thank you, that means that American cars lost more HP from the Motor to the wheels as European cars or the European cars lost less HP because they have Turbos on the Motor ? RWD cars looses only max. 10% here in Europe, FWD 8 - 10%.
@@alengreen589 European companies lie about their numbers. In the US manufacturers are using a standard for their horsepower ratings (SAE J1349 for example and then they advertise SAE numbers). For some reason European companies routinely claim lower numbers than they actually have which causes this confusion. BMW is one of the worst offenders and their horsepower ratings are just silly low compared to what they are actually making.

@@team3gaming749 I know in the 90s? They had that “gentleman’s agreement” story and under rated their engines. Honestly I don’t know about now…. Toyota is using BMWs motors and the other Japanese cars are not even on my radar so it’s not fair for me to guess.

I would like to share my opinion of what you stated. First let me say I'm a Trackhawk owner who loves the hellcat platform. I think that you should have done some research before stating that clutched pulleys are bad, SRT has devoted millions of dollars to insure the safety and reliability of their motors. I'm absolutely sure they would not put a clutched pulley if it was not the absolute best way to go to create longevity in our motors.
I appreciate your opinion but the hellcat doesn’t come from factory with a clutched pulley in the first place
is it possible to put 325 tyres on it ?

Henessey prices are not even close to what it costs at any other shop. They’re a rip off
So $8000 for pinning the crank ,upper pulley,belt,tune and injectors? Gotta be more parts then that right? I’m guessing you’re not listing all they did to it.
