Enjoyed the story of how you ended up in China. Thanks for sharing. Glad I subscribed! Cheers bro! Brandon from Beaverton MI. I preordered a Falcon for my 10yr old son. We are excited to get it.
What's nice about your range test is that you did it in the city, which is different from doing it on suburbs, country roads or highways. In the city you gotta go slow and stop sometimes because of pedestrians and traffic. It's interesting seeing what a city in China is like- that made the range test not so boring, for me at least. What kind of incline do you think the falcon can handle? (I live in a neighbourhood with 35 degree inclines) thanks for reading
It will handle any kind of normal incline you will actually need to go up. But it's not going to go up any inclines that you'd do just for show, if you know what I mean.
@@TheBergMan I think I know what you mean, but where I live, the limit between a incline for show and something you'd have to go up on your way to work is really blurry. For reference, this is just a normal everyday street maps.app.goo.gl/f1CsF8vqMX2SYkgi8
The Falcon ate those steps up. The sound going down was sweet. You are a skilled, brave rider doing all that with only a helmet and on wet/slick roads. The Falcon must be VERY confidence inspiring and stable for you to look so comfortable with it. Do you think there would be much difference choosing the knobby tire for it vs that one? How about tread/wheel life... how's it looking and wearing vs Chinese roads which can be brutal?
I would definitely choose knobby tire if you plan on taking it offroad! Otherwise, street tire is perfect! Thanks for the compliments! Tread will be fine. This wheel isn't going so fast
Well, thanks for that early first taste of range test and most of all thanks for the Nanning visit too, where I’ve not been yet but reminds me my many travels to marvelous China ❤
Well... mten4 is more convenient for quick errands and such and car travel ... but the falcon definitely can do all of that and more. So, I'd have to pick the falcon 😞 I love my mten4 though lol
so like what is the range where it becomes unrideable? I'm looking at this euc as my first one. a bike ride I usually go on is about 50km round trip. Can this euc do that? I see varying things about this. The shop I am going to buy it from says 35-50km, but begode apparently says 55km "true range?" whatever that means. I weigh 140lbs with no clothes
@angrygreek1985 I wanna say it can do it, if you don't go over 25-30 km/h. But it might be cutting it close..... to by honest, might need a bigger wheel
@@TheBergMan thanks for the reply. thing is, there aren't many wheels that fit my other requirements. at least that are reasonably affordable. I want suspension, good water resistance, as light as possible, not crazy expensive. the only other wheel that seems reasonably fitting is the KingSong S16 Pro but it's $500 more, weighs 20 lbs more, and doesn't have as good water resistance and doesn't have a knobby tire option. It's also 84v vs the falcon 100v. with the other one being the Inmotion V11Y but idk I don't really like that one and doesn't have as good water resistance or offroadability either.
Just do a quick conversion. 29 Kilometers to miles. Finished my ride with half battery. So it's safe to say it could handle about 55-60 kilometers on a single charge riding moderately
Hi man. Another great video. 🙂 Wow place where you are living looks really nice (i love green places like that). It was fun to hear how you met your wife - I was very curious about that. 😂 P.S. Another great t-shirt - Hunter x Hunter is superb 😁
The story was actually very long, so I cut it short hahaha I'm glad you enjoyed it! And thanks, man! HunterXHunter is a great show! Nanning 南宁 is always green!
Oh crap! Sorry! I'm such a rookie 😅 I weigh 155 lbs! Wind direction was about south eastward and my direction of travel was north bound for 68% of the time 😂
I also peed my pants a little when I crashed, so after that moisture evaporated, I weighed approximately half a pound (.5 lbs) less than when I started the test
Have you ever noticed that 99% of all women do not pay one bit of attention to you and have absolutely no interest in what you are riding? And yet about 90% of all men look at the wheel and either give you a thumbs up or think to themselves "what the hell is that thing"? 😂😂 I find it really interesting.
@@TheBergMan that's funny! More importantly, it is definitely not a chick magnet! I had a date recently and brought the woman over to my house and she saw my unicycles in the living room and asked me what it was and after answering her, no interest, no additional questions, nothing. She was apparently not impressed at all! 😂😂😂😂 and I'm 58 years old dammit! 😂
You never know when you are going to come off.. and here's you with not even wrist protectors on! Not promoting EUC safety very well. But on the positive side, I enjoyed your ride commentary and the scenic view of China.
@misubisu I also don't have ankle protectors. Or butt padding, neck brace, steel toes, hips, back, chest hahaha there's an amount of protection I'm willing to wear when riding different wheels. You're welcome to wear more or less
@misubisu sorry if that came across as sassy. The truth is, we should be wearing full suits of armor while riding haha but that's not practical. Wearing too much gear would make me not even want to ride the wheels. Too troublesome. It's also over 40°C here haha I've crashed so often in my lifetime, my wrists have never been injured. You learn how to crash over time. I recommend protecting wherever you enjoy having skin and bones 😆

Nice video. “My duty as a father and a husband to forget all of our plans” had me cracking up. 😂. Believe me, I can truly relate to this. 😂
It's really a super power that amazes me to this day
Hello! Thank you for the video! Please tell me how many kilometers a day do you travel on a unicycle while performing everyday tasks?
Depends on the day. Sometimes I'll go 25km in a day, sometimes only 5 haha

Do you like this wheel more than your MTEN4? i just bought a MTEN4 recently it was on sale
They are two very different wheels! I will always love my mten4 for short, fun rides!
The only thing more boring than a range test is an unboxing video!!😂
Hahaha those can be interesting if it's the actual first look at a new wheel! 😆 but yea, I don't wanna see the box
IF you like wheels and are interesting buying a model range test are important and tells alot so stop qith your foolishness, fool 😘

Haha you're welcome! There'll be some sucker out there to give yall a REAL range test😂
Nice video, which EUC would you rather keep between the Mten4 and the Falcon if you could only keep one?

Highly recommend some knee protection, Dr visits are more expensive than protection
Thanks Dad!
It just occurred to me that the helmet you've been using is Begode's newest offering not yet on the market. Will you do a gear review on it?
My helmet??! No no hahaha it's a cheap dirt bike helmet from taobao (chinese amazon) 😆
The man supplied the fries 😂
And got the girl! Heck yea, boy! Hahaha
The expression on the guy's face at 1:06
priceless
Hahahaha
You said you were going to listen to a podcast 😂. Dude, you are the podcast!
Ahahaha yea, I have a lot to say😂

what about speed? can you keep 50km/h+ ?
I haven't pushed this wheel past 45kmh
Don't know how it would handle that yet
Max speed is 31 mph/50 kph or it will cutout
do you got cut off on Electric Unicycle falcon yet??? ET MAX got cut off already
I've never had a cut off on any euc before haha
So in miles what was the result ?
Just do a quick conversion. 29 Kilometers to miles. Finished my ride with half battery. So it's safe to say it could handle about 55-60 kilometers on a single charge riding moderately

@@misubisu haha I'm about to head back to the u.s... it'll be in mph again soon 😆
How long did it take you to become quite fluent in mandarin ?
About a year in china. Studying a few times a week, but drinking with locals is the best way to learn a language
lol Toe Rogan really
@@CrocodileWhispers hahaha
try Relive or Strava for range tests next time, doesnt need to connect to your wheels
Thanks for the tip!
