I've found someone who teaches using simplified words and a step-by-step, PATIENT, method! Thank you kindly!
Thank You. I like it when Math is explained straight forward and is self-explanatory.
I love how simply you explain it, and how easily I understand you!!! You're the best teacher!
You are very good at explaining this! I’m studying for the GRE and its crazy how much how someone teaches a math concept makes a difference! There was a few things you wrote on the white board though that I wish were a little more legible :P
THANK YOU so much. I've been soooo confused over this and I'm halfway through your video but I already understand it. I was really confused at the formulas but you've explained it so well. i love how you simplified it. Thank you once again.
You’re welcome Ann! If you need more help check out this other video I did here: Permutations Combinations Factorials & Probability th-cam.com/video/TBnPkKxXPu8/w-d-xo.html
Man... Thank you thank you thank u!!! I hope youtube pays you way way more cause you deserve it!
I enjoy your videos so much, you explain clearly and get straight to the point. I have an EOC coming up for Algebra 2 and the only way I know I’ll be familiar with problems is through you! Thank You! ☺️
Glad my videos are helping you! For help with your EOC you may want to check out my Algebra 2 Midterm review video and my Algebra 2 final exam review video.
Dude I've watched a few of your videos now and your very good at explaining things 👌
You're a great teacher. Many people teach maths but not all are good teachers. You're doing a good job. Keep it up!
Thank you! 😃
U r a savior- u explain very throughly and i wish more teachers taught like this

Love you sir , I was trying hard on TH-cam to understand this P and C...but your explanations was awesome.
I have a test on this today and I had no idea how to do it bc my teacher wouldn’t explain it well but you just saved my grade, thank you!
200th comment and a new subscriber here from Philippines. This video helped me a lot. ❤️ Thank you!
Taking a Lib Arts Math in college, 20+ years after graduating high school and never having taken more than basic math. You are a blessing! The last question was cut off short, I really wanted to see how it was figured. But I will look at your other videos for sure.
Most people: got exams me: just got homework and is vibing during this 😂
bro you a funny man
Crystal clear explanation.
Thank you, helped a lot! I had trouble seeing the difference between permutation and combination, but you made it clear.
Glad my video helped you Janina!
This is a great video! Short, sweet, and to the point!
Glad you liked the video!
love you sir i get a new mindset to understand the question
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! this literally solved my problems
Amazing Video! Permutations and Combinations just got so much easier
Glad my video helped you Ajay!
This video was a lot more fast pace compare to the beginner ones that I've watched prior to this. I chose this video on purpose to see how fast I learned the formula for each one and see how well I can solve each equations without looking at the formulas afterwards. I really did enjoyed it.

Mario, thank you so much for the clear video. I've spent the last day trying to find a good explanation and this is definitely the best one. Appreciate the effort!
Mike
Your welcome Mike. Glad my video helped you.
Mario, I am sorry to ask but I would love if you could help me with this question.
"Last week ABC Company's stock had 3 advances, 1 decline and 1 unchanged (total of 5 trading days). In how many ways could this set of outcomes have happened?"
I know that this would be a permutation because of the fact the order does matter. Do you have a video that explains how to do this calculation? I would really appreciate some guidance on where you could send me for assistance with that! Appreciation from Canada,
Mike
@@mikef9677 Hey Mike the answer is 120. You can either use the fundamental counting principle, or the given formula to find no. of permutations. Either way, because we have 5 factorial ways, hence 5! = 5*4*3*2*1 = 120, or input the numbers into the formula as follows, 5P5 = 5! / (5-5)! which is 120/1. Hope you can finally pass your class now after 3 years lol!
Thank you so much bro, finally understand this concept :)

What about if we are required to have an order like 3 letters with 4 numbers let's say they're vehicle plate numbers? Example : ABC 1234, BBC 3781, DDD 4461, FFF 5555, etc? How many ways we can have that format from 26 letters and 10 numbers? Condition 1: Letters and numbers may be repeated, Condition 2 : Letters and numbers may not be repeated as shown in those examples. Thank you in advance for the reply.
Really helpful❤❤
Glad it was helpful!
What happens when your r and n are the same for either combinations and permutations?
really good explanation
Glad it was helpful!
Great.
This is one of my Edpuzzle
Thank you so much sir.
You’re welcome Malik!
If I have 6 books, all of which are about different subjects, but 3 are RED and 3 are BLACK. How do I decide which permutation to use if I want to deduce the probability of a red or black being the next colour to come out. I ask this question in relation to Roulette, where you can bet on either red or black, knowing that the colours are only one attribute of the individually numbered possibilities.
Excellent video, I totally get it now, but it cuts off at the end.
Good teacher!
To teach this stuff you have to understand it at a fundamental level. I don't know why you chose to teach it instead of becoming an engineer, but we're all better for it.
Really helpful thanks
You’re welcome! Glad my video helped you!
Its soo helpful, Tyvm!! Can u pls tell what does it mean if they've mentioned "replacement allowed" or "replacement not allowed"? and how to solve it?
If replacement is allowed then the events are independent and the probabilities will remain the same however if it is without replacement the probabilities will change because there are less items to choose from.
I understand your point😁😁😁
I’m studying for my exam tom and I subscribed.
Welcome to the channel! Good luck on your exam!
Mario's Math Tutoring Thank you
thanks so so so much
You’re welcome Varshini!
How would you find the % of rolling any number of 6s out of 36 dice?
Say I wanted the % of 6 6s out of 36 rolls, do I need standard deviation?
DoHerHarder you’d use binomial distribution wouldn’t you?
How to solve like this
how many numbers between 1/4 and 1/2 can be displayed on an 8 digit calculator
Enjoyed teaching method. First time subscribing, what does this mean?
Being a subscriber just means that you will be notified when I upload any new videos( which is usually for me about 1 or 2 a week) you can turn the notifications off if it becomes annoying. Most people subscribe to channels that they want to stay up to date with, or bookmark so they can return to...nice to have you as a subscriber...Lots more videos like this one on my channel Mario’s Math Tutoring.
for the 2nd question..my guess is that 19C2 or (19,2) is right becaus in a team there will be a captain so we can't pick the captain to be a co-captain.
Anyway, wonderful class thank you
Heck yes
Can somebody help me out? So there was this one question and it said someone is only able to choose on option of each cones cakes and cookies and each of the three had different types of cones, cakes and cookies and the questions is how many combination can you make of each? So do I use this same formula as the video or what do I do HELP PlS
Valeriee...from what it sounds like you are talking about us the fundamental counting principle aka the multiplication counting principle ....I talk a little bit about it in this video here ...hope this helps
