Nice video full of good information for the Bay I cut a nice hali of mission Bay park San Diego street on the firecracker then something cut 15lb flo. clean
Dude found your channel and love all your vids. You got me fired up to et out in the bays here in SD again. I almost have my rib motor back in top shape and may see you out there. I used to use a lot of scampi’s root beer colors sometime tie a dropper hock above with live anchovies. Killer for halibut. I want to get many of these combos you showed here. Thanks happy to support a local.
Love seeing this company succeed! Some great products that come from you guys, and so fun to catch fish on, thanks for all the great memories and PB's. Already got some more underspins on the way! Next video maybe an inshore rod/reel/line talk for the different styles of baits? Still working on new combos and wanna get some more insight on that...
What do you recommend for this time of year? (December/January) I’m in Oceanside CA. Been fishing jetties mainly. I’ve just been doing the basic drop shop with anchovies or plastic flukes. And no luck.
They straight work. Go to in the bay in tough conditions for me, 1/2 OZ Camo with the weed guard on a 4" Keitech Easy Shinner in Silver Flash with head chopped down a 1/4". Money!
Man you gotta release those prop heads. I love the mega bass okashiira screw heads but they only come in small sizes. 1/2oz WARBAITS prop heads would be sick
Great vid as always! This is why so many of us support Warbaits because of the hard work you and the team put in. That being said, I'd really love to see a version of the Owner Beast Flashy Swimmer with the Warbaits tweaks to make it your own with a smaller hook size for the weight some better materials, etc. I really like the idea of a completely weedless bait and the wide range of plastics you could rig with it. Plus I feel like with a beefed up warbaits swivel and blade for the underspin it would be a deadly presentation. Just a thought. Thanks!
New to this style of fishing when I asked my buddy what heads to go with he said warbaits. I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of your product and all are top quality. Im still learning how to use them but fun either way.
All of them. Anything we can get our hands on. The easy stuff to get like Powerbait, Keith, Big Hammer, MC Swimbaits (stuff you can get of Tackle warehouse).... The hard stuff to get: Mano, Island Plastics, Recon, Pearl etc
Nice Bro I Make My Own Designed Molds Swim Baits Worms And Jig Trailers It Is Awesome When You Catch Fish On your Own Baits / Lures Especially When They Are Own Design Not a Store Bot Mold Love The Videos
WARBAITS FISHING I fish a lot of 2.5 inch keitecs when the bite is slow or those little tiny zman swimbaits an 1/8th oz would kill! I much rather use your product than the other 1/8oz available in the shops
Spinnerbait put through hell and back still kicking hook is almost rusted out have used it for at least a year! Skirt finally got dusted. More fish than I can count on it.
Congrats on 11 years. Love the DCP underspin. What do you recommend for maintenance? I find myself soaking them in the kitchen sink in a Cool Whip container after a session in the bays. I’m reluctant to change out swivels so as not change the action.
I rinse all my gear off with fresh water after every use. And with the lures that touch salt, I do the same and wash them in the sink. Thanks for the support!
I’m a disabled veteran, and I’m going on a once in a lifetime fishing trip to San Diego in March.what I’m looking for is a best of kit for the war bait so I can get the most for my money
I suggest stopping by Dana Landings in Mission Bay when you're down here. They have a great selection and will set you up with the right stuff! Thanks again!
Af your warbaits products are second to none, I use them in all my fishing applications, fresh or salt, no matter what depth. Curious if you have played around with Colorado’s on your Warblades ever. We talked on ig not too long ago about Colorado’s on underspins.
Thank you for the support. Colorado blade on the Warblade is killer! We also use a small colorado on the Underspins. It's a bit of a slower retrieve, but can be deadly.
Great video dude displaying all the types of options. If you decide to push that propeller style bait put me down on the pre order list 😃 I most definitely want to get in the arsenal. Big ups dude!
Afran, thanks for great videos and info on all techniques related to Warbaits. If I might suggests you take a vid outside, somewhere around the green tanks and catch some of the larger Calicos. Using what size baits and techniques. Thx.
CALIFORNIA UMBRELLA RIG Regulations: Freshwater 3 hooks MAX. Saltwater, 5 hooks as long as you are not fishing for Rockfish / Salmon or have a Rockfish / Salmon on the boat.
Disclaimer: CALIFORNIA UMBRELLA RIG Regulations: Freshwater 3 hooks MAX. Saltwater, 5 hooks as long as you are not fishing for Rockfish / Salmon or have a Rockfish / Salmon on the boat. WONEWS.com Alabama rigs have been all the rage, as well as very controversial, in the bass fishing circuits this year. While in freshwater lakes and Delta waters the Alabama rig must be modified (only three hooks total allowed rather than the standard five), in ocean waters no modifications are required. However, if fishing for salmon or rockfish or if salmon or rockfish are in possession, the angler would be limited to only two hooks. www.wonews.com/Blog.aspx?id=1773
Man I've been looking for something like that R&D softbody spybait style lure. I use duo spybaits on calm days and they kill it but most days they are too lightweight to work down effectively with the current in the bay. Plus the hooks don't hold up.
Yo Afran, I still have some Mano Swimbaits from an order from about 2 years ago. And they are still going strong. My jig heads are beat up but they still go hard!! #warbaitsforlife
I was fishing the weedless underspin the other day and missed about 15 bites do you have any recommendations on how I can hook them such as wait a little longer?
Thanks for the question. A few questions to help better understand the situation: Which species are you fishing for? Which plastic trailer are you using? And what is the rod spec? Thanks!
@@micheleg8809 I'd suggest getting a stiffer rod, a Medium Heavy. Spotties hit so fast, you really have to hit them back as quick as possible. With a soft rod or mono line, there is too much stretch in the line and a ML rod there is too much (whip) or flex With a stiffer rod, the hookset is more instant. I use a 7M on my spinning rod but the blank is Extra Fast Taper. All my other rods are MH or H. Also tighten down your drag. Good luck out there!
Warbaits for life
100%
Caught multiple spotties on 3/8oz swimjigs
🙌
I thought ibhad to buy all new gear for ocean bass from fresh water. Looks likes I can used them for both

MB has some big halibuts. They come in to spawn
3/8 flagship is my go to
One of most popular
Umbrella rigs availible?
Not currently, check with RECON baits
On minute 6:20 the swim bait you are using we can I order it??? And can I use it on the neck crank?? Thank you in advance
That’s MC Swimbait… sold in Southern California and possibly on tackle warehouse.
You’re able to have all 5 hooks in the ocean? I know freshwater it’s 3 max just an FYI
I've been fishing Warbaits for 8 years straight. Thank you so much for helping me be out on the water more.

Get back out there and explore the bays! Scampi Rootbeer is a killer bait!

Hmmmmmm..... it does fish good. Which trailer do you like to run on the prop bait?
WARBAITS FISHING spark shad hazedong shad or keitech
Where in SD do you find your plastics baits?
Love the warbaits,. The only thing I wish you guys had is a wire keeper. Just love how much better the wire keeper holds on to the plastic.
Thanks for the support and Wire idea.
Great product and great support for the local fishing scene!
Thank you!

Excellent. We sampled a hook style concept similar in 2013. I'll bring the project back to the crew and see what they say. Thanks!
@@WARBAITS Awesome! I'd be all about that! and patiently awaiting the response from the crew. Thanks for the quick reply!

I can’t find the Chartreuse and silver head that you have Paired with the slug at the 5:50 mark. Sup?
Been using them since day one! Wish you had some small 1/8 ounce for trout and really small applications!
