How do you find the value of specific numbered cards? I’d be interested to find out the value of some of my rare cards lumbered to about /20 or less

My dad collected sports cards and then gave it to me when I was 13. I have (if i was to guess) like close to 2 thousand cards if not over. Its alot. Now 18 years since hes given it to me. I honestly dont know what im working with or how to go about it. Part of me wants to just keep them and give them to my son. But this is helping my curiosity and I appreciate it.
Bro I’m in the same boat except the collection goes back to my great grandfather and now it’s been passed from my grandfather to my father and now to me, some of the cards are from 1970s and I got baseball, basketball and hockey cards

I have an auto card i pulled from a panini Top Class collection for deandre ayton, which i am trying to find the value, but cant find any reference or any listing of it.

I have found that instead of putting in the parallel color, put in the serial number. Not all sellers put in colors but almost all out in serial numbers.

Good job explaining how to come up with a comp. allowing the collector to get an idea of his/her card value. When you're new, it's difficult to try and be fair on both ends w/o thinking was the amount too much or too little? Sac. show 5/7. By the way, what # did you wear at WK?

Usually you should take into account how good the player is and other than that it is mostly up to you

New into the “hobby” lol i use to be a big collector as a kid. More on yugioh and Pokémon. Now I’m trying to collect sports cards. I just started on this journey and I am unsure of how to even choose a color. I see it on other people's listings, and I see a variety of different reds, etc however I am afraid to put something beyond the basic color for fear that I have somehow misjudged whether it is an explosive vibrant red, or a red wave

It hurts me to see content creators I once admired selling out to the highest bidders to hype their platforms. Look at all those sponsored discount codes for just a short mention in your video. I know nothing about sports but acquired a lot of cards from my uncle that passed away 20 years ago and I never wanted to sell but I think I’m willing to now. It’s a lot of work bc he has some old stuff and I just used the app collx and did 5 pages and found 7 that’s worth 15 to 20 dollars already. But I’m still unsure if I’m missing some stuff.
