You are an awareness and a consciousness prior to coming into the physical world. You existed as a being, as an entity before your birth.
We are parts of what is. Each part has the consciousness of the whole imbedded within it.
"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee ..." ( Jeremiah 1:5)
We willingly submitted to total amnesia. Once you wake up from a deep sleep, you start a process of evolution. You go through the stages of awareness and you grow through the levels of consciousness.
Consciousness is a state in which you grow until you reach total awareness.
