Well don't forget that this was the 'birth' era of movies with sound. They didn't have drama and acting schools then. Many are from other backgrounds like rodeo, singers or war heroes like Tim McCoy.

I enjoyed this movie. I watch only westerns because I enjoy them more than any other genre.
