- After receiving a couple of massive gifts to support Christin's parents new home from two subscribers, Mr. H ($2,000 USD) and Lance ($200)... we share the good news with them over a great meal at the newly re-opened Daom Dive Resort.

D. H's 2k and Lance $200 does a lot in building a home in the Philippines. Great guys ! We can expect a great throne for sure ! The smiles coming from the parents compensates the communication difficulty expressing gratitude with Filipinos.
It is wonderful when a person is able to help others improve their lives. Being a business person myself i find myself doing business in poor communities i will never be rich financially but my heart is full

Without you, Tim, this would never have happened . Hopefully they can have a structurally safe and sanitary home, for a fresh start . Many others would probably help too, if the means made it possible . Nice of you to share an accounting for the benefit of donors . Like you, I wish those children were supervised around a dangerous work site.

When I was building in Malitbog I had to watch the hollow block builder to make sure the appropriate amount of concrete was put into the block mix. Sometimes the blocks that were delivered I could crush with bare hands..

Tim, do your family a huge favor and have the design of the retaining wall performed by a structural engineer. The amount of surcharge load on a wall of that height amounts to a massive amount of force. Without an adequate design, the hill may collapse the wall and the earth and wall may take out the dwelling. I speak from more than 20 years experience in structural engineering. Best to you and yours always.
David Blackwell I was concerned about the structural support of the elevated first floor. Those thin walls, limited rebar and lack of larger interior beams in particular.

Retaining walls should have gravel between soil and wall then weep holes for drainage.

That is awesomely amazing! Great news! Her family is very deserving of this gift. Very hard working and I seen that myself in a few of your videos. Thing is they don’t allow the greed for money to ruin the true meaning for a happy life and that is having a good family and just enjoy each day for it’s beauty and deal with problems the best way you can without freaking out like we Americans tend to do. Face it, we are spoiled in the USA and now many other countries. You live in a beautiful place and you know it. But there are countless beautiful places too on Earth and each person has different tastes. Some people love the cold of Alaska and remote places like that. Not me but I can appreciate it. Good luck in your building of the house. In two short years down the line it will be amazing. I know you will steer them right with the best way to build it. It would be nice to have two toilets in the house only because it’s more of a convenience now than a luxury. Your son is growing like a weed and I’m sure time will fly because it did for my wife and myself with our daughters. Be happy you have a son because daughters are really more expensive and always need protected very much in this crazy world!
One day your son might be taking care of you and your wife so teach him well and I know you will. Sorry I rambled on so much. Good luck and please continue to post your videos. I like your dog too. Dogs really are man’s best friend.

great Vid Bud that Kimshit or what ever you call it looks almost like what my Mom use to make with Stewed Tomatoes and fresh garden green-beans with onions. I make it with Fresh garden green beams onions whole kernel corn a little bacon and some mushrooms add the stewed tomatoes in last everyone I have had try it love it. I am not saying this because Tin Tin is beautiful but that family should have nice things in life I think her parents did a wonderful job bringing up the family. If they were my parents I would be proud to say this is my Mom and this is my Dad.

Wonderful !! So happy for her family to be helped. Let's all do what we can to be a blessing to others. I have a friend who is a young widow with three children in Philippines. The most worthwhile thing I can do with my earnings is help her. I also have adopted a girl in Philippines who's father died young and mother is in difficult situations. I found her when she was 11, she is 17 today. L😆L I went to Philippines in search of a wife, got a daughter instead. I thank God so much for the privilege of serving those in need. Missing Mindinao from Colorado USA.

Thanks for all your great videos, been watching since Day 1. The previous house construction tour said that it was only going to be a single story, but today it has changed to 2 stories. I thought that perhaps you could explain what is happening.

Tim, maybe you would have to build some kind of retain wall to support the hill' soil at the back of the house, the way it is now there is a big risk of landslide, specially with the hard rains you have there at typhoon season
