HEY EVERYONE, JUST TO CLARIFY: I AM NOT BIASED TOWARD ANY PHONE BRAND. I USE BOTH THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S24 ULTRA AND THE IPHONE 16 PRO MAX, AND MY ECOSYSTEM IS SAMSUNG (WATCH, RING, ETC.). I put a lot of effort into making these comparisons to ensure they're fair and thorough. In this video, I tested the S24 Ultra’s Pro Mode at 4K 120fps, where stabilization is reduced, which may explain the movement in the footage. Keep in mind **the S24 Ultra came out earlier this year, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is newer with updated hardware. Both are great devices. Feel free to share your experiences or thoughts below! I'll be doing another comparison soon, and this time I'll show the exact settings on both phones to show that everything is transparent and nothing is altered to favor one over the other.
This comparison makes no sense at all. It's as if you compare the native camera of the S24U with the i16PM in Prores mode without editing it and at the end of that score to the S24 Ultra why the i16pm is very "gray" lol. Dislike for this biased comparison.
@ramonconteiro142 Hey I appreciate your feedback and totally understand where you're coming from about wanting a balanced comparison. However, I did specifically set both the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra to 4K at 120fps for this test. This setup was chosen because it pushes both devices to their limits in terms of frame rate and resolution, allowing us to compare their handling of high-resolution video capture in similar conditions. When both devices are set to 4K 120fps, we're focusing purely on how each phone’s sensor, stabilization, and processing algorithms handle the same type of high-bitrate video output without any enhancement modes like ProRes or HDR10+ that could skew the comparison. This setup keeps things transparent and allows us to see how each phone handles noise reduction, sharpness, and dynamic range in identical settings. If I were to switch to ProRes on the iPhone or a native high-bitrate mode on the S24 Ultra, I agree that it would be less fair without post-processing alignment. But here, at 4K 120fps, we're directly comparing raw video capture performance. For further comparisons, I’m open to showcasing exact settings on-screen to ensure everyone can see that neither phone has an unfair advantage.
No doubt, the S24 Ultra is a beast with those crazy camera specs! 🔥 I've definitely been playing around with the AF and other features, and you're right-the quality is something else. Gonna be showing more of it in my next video!
Here is a twist bruh. I guess you didn't get it, so lemme tell you, the iphone is being recorded in 4k 120. But the samsung can shoot it in pro mode only, so in pro mode the exposure/iso/WB can't adjust automatically, the photographer have to do it manually, so the footage is not that great while in case of apple, it is adjusting all automatically, thats why the clip from samsung is not that good, but but, if you shoot the video in 4k /60 the samsung will definitely do as good as iphone with automatic HDR, in pro mode any phone can't adjust all those settings
Haha, as expected! But don’t count the others out too soon-there’s always a twist in the tech race! Maybe next year, we’ll be saying ‘Clear win for the Galaxy!

Hi @Yurii969, thanks for your input! I do own the S24 Ultra, and this video comparison was based on my personal experience between the S24 Ultra and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Some users, including myself, have noticed occasional stabilization issues in specific recording settings, particularly PRO MODE at 4K 120Hz. I’ve also checked forums where a few others have reported similar problems. I’ve updated to the latest software, and this could be a unit-specific issue.
