What do you think of smaller Cogsworths? I haven't been using them and have been using McDuck Manor, as I think that is good for things like Be Prepared. Also any general tips, I replied to another comment but just been practicing relentlessly for set championships! I feel like I'm mostly struggling with the Mim Merlin bounce combo. That and sometimes the Baloo bodyguard.
@@QuantumMercury most of my opponents at the championship at my store will have amethyst bounce decks, I know those are a pain. So you think that is the way? The only way I've been able to tackle them is Grab Your Swords and Tinker Bell, which take a while.
Where have you seen official ruling/ could you send me link to see where it shows getting 1.5 points for going first on game 2 versus game 1? I thought there was some sort of advantage for that but didn't see anything in comprehensive or tourney format rules for that
It's actually 1 point for a win, and a bonus point if you win both games (so 3 in total). It was mentioned during the Lorecast, so I don't think anything official has made it online yet. But the format is described in the event page for the PPG June Lorcana Challenge in Chicago (Googling that should find you the details).
If you have any updates to the budget Amethyst/Steel list, would love to see it! I noticed a similar deck has done pretty well in tournaments recently. Really been enjoying the deck
For sure, I’m so far behind on the potential content I could’ve made. Work has just been very busy and I’ve been out and about so I haven’t been able to play too much. The reason I’ve been back on Master Duel is because you have a client on your phone for that, so it made matches easy.
Sapphire Ruby because of better top end that you’ll have trouble removing and the mirror. Your worst enemy is misplaying though, because this deck is hard to play correctly.
I'm seeing that, it is a deck that takes a lot of practice. I'm finding aggro/bounce decks a pain, I mean you have Grab Your Sword but by that time they are usually far ahead and you have to have ramped ink (which is the point of this deck). Also the uninkables, lack of 2 drops other than Mr Smee really etc. Mine isn't far off the same as yours, probably 90%. I don't use Benja or small Cogsworth (which I'm considering changing, as I used an old deck list), but I have all 4 Beast, the main Cogsworth etc.
Check the gameplay video in the description. I do the combo within the first minute of the video. I also show the Hiram Pawp loop with Tamatoa in the last match of the video for the draw loop.

This deck has migrated to more lower cost steel removal. And to deal with Amethyst you should aim to get your Dime online quickly.

@@QuantumMercury again was using an old version that didn't have the Dime or small Cogsworths.
I see the power of this Deck now and will be giving it a fair shot for sure.
Best of luck!
Excellent vid!

A friend was telling me how it works. He said it was all in the official documents, but I have not read those yet.

That last game was fire
Thanks!

What are the worst match ups for this deck?

That explanation of the lucky dime combo was too fast for my brain, mr. Flash 😅
