  • This customer had a buried concrete block retaining wall in their front yard. It was difficult to mow the lawn and didn't have any value left. They called me to remove the wall and lessen the hill with topsoil. I am using a my Blue Diamond Mini Stump Bucket to dig out the concrete blocks. This stump bucket basically like a big crowbar on my mini skid steer! It will dig out stumps, goal posts, fence posts, boulders and just about anything that I can throw at my Vermeer 925.
As you watch the video, you will notice how many blocks are buried in the ground. It was enough to fill my 6 cubic yard capacity dump truck! Once the blocks were removed and loaded, I power raked (Harley Rake) the entire hill and spread 1 triaxle (15 cubic yards) of pulverized topsoil. This helped amend the soil and replenish the ground where the concrete blocks were removed. With seed and straw, this job was complete and customer happy!

Well done mate! How do you rate the vermeer? I'm a small excavation business and thinking this is what I need paired with mini excavator. Are they pretty easy to grade with or are you just making it look really easy? 😂

I have been running it for awhile now but I think anyone could do the same with time on machine! The Vermeer is very user friendly!
