Yes, from everything we have seen. Still a tad early, but about 2 years+ now of testing and tuning with the Cobb Accessport. The Turbo model has a more robust gearbox but no issues with the S/GTS from our experience or following other guys on the internet.
It get's along well with the DFI engine. Obviously N/A can only make so much power. Here's the Accessport on our 2.7L 981: th-cam.com/video/BA_a81i77n4/w-d-xo.html

Jon, if the test vehicle had sport plus, using launch control (5000 rpm launch) care to guess the 0-60 and quarter mile times would be with Cobb tune and intakes? Add onto that down pipes and intercoolers and it seems like a macan s might dip into the 11’s. Not too shabby.
I have a Macan S Purchased with a Chrono package and factory sports exhaust in China, car took 6 months from Germany. I use 95 and 98 RON here. Will the Cobb be ok to use with Sports plus mode? Any thoughts?
@@westonhecker Just depends on your goals. The intake system and our custom tuning is a great bang-for-your buck addition. If you want an exhaust it will also help with power. Intercoolers work well if you want to get the most out it.
We used our Flat 6 Motorsports intakes. Since they are our own product, we didn't want to do an episode on them and come off as a salesman for them. We obviously believe passionately about our product line and have received amazing feedback from customers. We have dyno results, 1/4 mile results and lab results on our intake system. Happy to answer any questions on them.
In terms of normal driving, it won't have any impact. The more you get into the throttle, there is more boost and fuel so it will not be as efficient if you're constantly romping on it
Thanks guys. Not many people are putting videos together with the Macan S and Cobb install. very informative.
I wanted a Macan before this video but I have to get one now! Love what you do!
I really want to get the Cobb, intakes and Stage 1+ tune for my Macan turbo and do a similar video on my channel. Great results, super excited!
More on the Macan S Please!
Can’t wait for the 991.2 tune.
That’s a significant power gain! I though about doing the Cobb tune. Is the power train robust enough to handle all that extra power?

Can you return to stock easily? Thanks for the great info video.
Yes, it's very simple. In the main menu, you just click uninstall and it puts the factory map back on the ECU.
Flat 6 Motorsports thank you. Can the tool be ordered from your website?

Flat 6 Motorsports perfect thank you!!
How would Cobb get along with a 987.2 Spyder with SOUL full street kit, ipd plenum and TB? I've toyed with the idea of Softronic...

The 2.7L is probably a bit more tuned from the factory compared to the 3.4L
Fabspeed already has a package for all this stuff. Their exhaust systems are hand made in house!
Did the Macan s tested have sport plus? If so was launch control used for all of the testing (before and after accessport)? Thank you!
No Sport Plus, just the standard Sport Mode. It does have a rev hold for launch but doesn't allow the turbos to spool like Sport Plus.

Will the PDK handle this increased power? Will this change emissions testing and passing emissions?
Yes, the PDK will handle the power. It will not change any emissions monitors or tamper with any emission controls.
Do Cobb do a version for the Macan Diesel ?
No, they do not.
You didn’t show the tune by itself without intakes. Why?
The intakes were already on. Not a huge delta (the intakes dynoed at 10whp on a stock tune).
Is still fine the engine and gearbox ?
Yes

Yes, works very well in Sports +
Is the stage two and 3 worth doing for the COBB for the macan ?
Yes, but you will want to make sure you have the necessary hardware upgrades.
@@Flat6Motorsports so have a macan s with a stage one . Is there anything else recommended

So, to be able to run the map, you need to run the Cobb accessport constantly on the obd2?
No, once you install the tune, you can remove the accessport from the OBD2.
which "intakes" are you referring to in this vid? alpha? flat6?

How long did the install take? Thanks...
About 8-10 minutes

I have a 2016 Macan S. How do I get the crackling sounds to be louder?
You'll need an exhaust. Do you have one?
How much is the gain on hp and torque?
We have some dyno graphs here: flat6motorsports.com/collections/macan-ecu/products/cobb-tuning-access-port-v3-macan
how does it affect MPG?

Does this void the warranty?
Yes
works with 2019 macan s?
No, only 15-18
