Actually a good game to follow. Some very logical moves. It's so interesting that one of Magnus's talents is sustained belief that he can win through to the end game. It almost makes the middlegame moot so long as he isn't desperately behind.

In this variation, there's a kinda dirty trick you can do. You can take the pawn and in most cases the opponent won't take back because it would mean trading queens, so a free pawn.

It might be mildly humorous to try I guess....But after the wizard outfit candid, you have to admit the man has a sense of humor. Lots of people seem to think he's arrogant, but I don't find it too much in the same way Fischer was. I think it's the "right amount" of arrogant for my taste, I have to admit if it were me in that spot I would probably be insufferable. Kasparov seemed more stand-offish and way more serious...but also he would occasionally admit he was wrong. And getting spanked by Deep Blue was a little humbling, but he took it well. His Pepsi commercial is pretty funny to boot.

You say that, but at what point in chess knowledge do you learn when you shouldn't take free material advantage? I feel that it only comes out at the highest levels of play, we're position matters far more than points.
The best way that you can answer that by yourself is to jump into a chess algorithm and recreate the game yourself. The algo will tell you whether there are better movements, etc.

The fork could have only been seen at 5:28, 1 move before. Because kd1 is a blunder by the opponent. It doesn’t mean Magnus calculated it before hand

If youre below gm level you can play Bxf3 then later e6 and just play normal chess. White has no surprises then.
