    💡 LEARNING TIP:
Make sure you use the pauses in the video to give yourself an opportunity to practice saying the Myanmar aloud - this is a really important part of consolidating your learning.
And if you find that the pauses are too short, pause the video to give yourself time to work it out and speak at a pace that's comfortable and relaxed for you.

    A NOTE ON ROMANISATION:
We’ve made the decision not to include the romanised version of the Myanmar words included in our videos. While it can seem to be helpful at the beginning, it can end up being a bit of a ‘crutch’. From our experience, we can definitely recommend taking the time to learn to read the Myanmar script as a priority, as this will ensure a more accurate and consistent result.
Love Myanmar videos are presented on the basis that the viewer can now read the Myanmar script.
Thanks for joining us for this Myanmar lesson. See you next time!

Please in မသိလိုက်ဘူး။ what means လိုက်

      That's a really good question! 🌟
လိုက် has many different functions in Myanmar so it can be a little confusing!
In this case of 'verb + လိုက်', it's a little hard/awkward to translate in English but perhaps we could say it's similar to 'happen to + verb'.
Example in the video: 'I didn't happen to catch/hear/know about your call'.
Another example: သူပြန်ရောက်နေတာ မသိလိုက်ဘူး - 'I didn't (happen to) realize that he was back already'
Another example: သူကို ပြောလိုက်သလား - 'Did you happen to mention it to him?'
