    How to understand long sentences.

That's a really good question. We're still trying to figure that out too!
The longer sentence structure seems quite complicated most of the time, doesn't it.
Unfortunately, we haven't yet found a shortcut way to learn (or answer that)!
      We're focussing on things like:
      a) vocabulary/short phrase acquisition (the building blocks!)
      b) some short, basic grammatical structures (so we can identify them within longer sentences)
      c) Realizing that as English speakers, you usually have to work your way back from the end of the Myanmar sentence/phrase.
For example in a sentence like this, it reads almost exactly from back to front in English 😅:
      အိမ်ထောင်ရေး သာယာချင်တယ်ဆိုရင် အချင်းချင်း ကျေးဇူးတင်လေးမြတ်ကြောင်း ပြဖို့ အရေးကြီးတယ်။
      အရေးကြီးတယ် - it's important
      ပြဖို့ - to show
      ကျေးဇူးတင်လေးမြတ်ကြောင် - appreciation
      အချင်းချင်း - to/for each other
      သာယာချင်တယ်ဆိုရင် - if you want a happy
      အိမ်ထောင်ရေး - marriage
But yes, sorry we don't have a magic answer for you! If we find one, we'll let you know 😄
