This is everyone in order of the special appearance: Catastrophe (Swift), Arsyn (Selena Gomez), Welvin da Great (Lamar), Lucky Fiori (Lena Dunham), The Trinity (Hailee Steinfeld), Dilemma (Serayah), Slay-Z (Gigi Hadid), Destructa X (Ellie Goulding), Homeslice (Martha Hunt), Mother Chucker (Cara Delevingne), Cut Throat (Zendaya), The Crimson Curse (Hayley Williams), Frostbyte (Lily Aldridge), Knockout (Karlie Kloss), Domino (Jessica Alba), Justice (Mariska Hargitay), Luna (Ellen Pompeo), and Headmistress (Cindy Crawford). They all got to pick their character's names. Welcome to the Taylor rabbit hole. It is deep. She does it all!
This song was about Katy Perry...they used to have beef back in 2014-16...they r good friends now..Katy had a cameo in Taylor's music video called You Need To Calm Down...Katy even went to see the Eras Tour in Australia. This music video had such a star studded cast like Selena Gomez Hailey Williams (from Paramore) Zendaya Jessica Alba Gigi Hadid Cara Delevingne Hailee Steinfeld Ellie Goulding Lena Dunham Karlie Kloss ..etc...
She does really high quality videos, she writes all her own songs, but I think it's her live vocals that'll impress you. You should check out Ready For It (with intro) and Don't Blame Me from her Reputation Tour first. But if you want to compare a total 180 of her vocals, genres and versatility, check out the Long Pond live session. My Tears Ricochet (about her previous label boss, considered a friend, who betrayed her over her masters=why she's rerecording her first 6 albums) and Exile. Both are quite, restrained and will rip your heart out 😂
Here’s the list of CAMEO’s: •Kendrick Lamar who features on the song as Welvin Da Great •Selena Gomez (performer, actress) as Arsyn •Lena Dunham (actress, “Girls” as Lucky Fiori •Hailee Steinfeld (actress) as The Trinity •Serayah (actress) as Dilemma •GiGi Hadid (actress, Victoria’s Secret model) as Slay-Z •Ellie Goulding (performer) as Destructa X •Martha Hunt (Victoria’s Secret model) as Homeslice •Cara Delevingne (actress, model) as Mother Chucker •Zendaya (performer, actress) as Cut Throat •Hayley Williams (performer from Paramore) as The Crimson Curse •Lily Aldridge (Victoria’s Secret model) as FrostByte •Karlie Kloss (Victoria’s Secret model) as Knockout •Jessica Alba (actress) as Domino •Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) as Luna •Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) as Justice •Cindy Crawford (OG Victoria’s Secret model) as Headmistress Taylor has 3 cats, 2 are named Meredith Gray (Ellen Pompeo’s character on Grey’s Anatomy) and Olivia Benson (who is the name of Mariska Hargitay’s character on L&O: SVU). She had to have these two powerhouse women in the video since she literally named her cats after them! Hahaha.
I am a new swiftie at fifty 😂 as a new swiftie I went down the rabbit hole last year and when Taylor won person of year Cindy Crawford did a tiktok of taking the trash out a play off of Taylor's quote about Kim Kardashian. Sorry I went left field but when I seen Cindy in this video that's all I could think about. Taylor is just iconic. She is leaving her mark on this world like a legend 🫶🏻
Definitely check out Folklore Long Pond Studio Session - Exile w/ Bon Iver, This is me Trying, My Tears Ricochet, the trilogy of Cardigan, August and Betty is amazing storytelling
If you want her poetic stuffs and less agressive...i suggest you react to any songs from her Folklore & Evermore albums..her song writing in it is just top notch...
Nice reaction. Agree with everyone about folklore, particularly the long pond sessions. My tears ricochet, exile, this is me trying. All really good examples of her lyricism. Hope you do more. Subscribing for Taylor!
Nice job! I’ve subscribed and am looking forward to seeing you do more Tswift videos. As a swiftie, I’m often surprised by how many people don’t realize that Taylor’s music ranges over several styles and genres (pop, country, folk, alt, indie, rock…). Her live performances and music videos are both fantastic. I would suggest that, ideally, you should plan on doing a combination of music video and live performance for each TSwift song whenever both exist. I suggest focusing on some fan favorites to start with (which tend to not be her biggest radio hits).
For some less aggressive songs, I suggest her albums folklore and evermore. For folklore, PLEASE watch the Long Pond Sessions movie clips, when possible. In fact, I’d strongly recommend doing an entire movie reaction for that movie, if you are willing to do so. Yes! folklore is what converted me to a swiftie, I saw the rolling stone article with Paul McCartney saying she wanted to use words like “divorcé” and “ricochet” (and she didn’t even use the in the same song!)
Did you notice the bulldog lifts his head to the beat of the song? Every little detail that can be paid attention to is paid attention to in Taylor's videos.
Check out the videos for Ready For It, Look What You Made Me Do, Blank Space, I Did Something Bad, I Knew You Were Trouble, Calm Down, End Game and Vigilante Sh*t then check out her live performances of Ready For It, I Did Something Bad, Vigilante Sh*t and Don't Blame Me. This was a great place to start.
Two of my other favourite videos by her are look what you made me do and wildest dreams, they’re beautifully done :) she can be ethereal or take the mick out of herself 😊
“I can’t take it back, look where I’m at”-he can’t take back everything that’s gone down between them because the conflict is too developed now “We was on D like DOC, remember that?”-OK so ‘DOC’ means drug of choice generally. So when Kendrick says they were ‘on D’, he’s saying that their friendship used to be like a drug; it was something that made them both happy and they always wanted more of each other. “My TLC was quite OD, ID my facts”-’TLC’=tender loving care and ‘OD’=overdose. So he’s saying that his love and appreciation for the other person was so great that it was almost too much. When he says ‘ID my facts’, it’s kind of like saying ‘Check my facts’ or whatever and it just means he’s saying like you can check my facts, but what I am saying is definitely right. “Now POV of you and me, similar Iraq”-’POV’ means point of view. So he’s saying that from his point of view, their situation has become full on warfare, similar to the Iraq war. “I don’t hate you, but I hate to, critique, overrate you”-He doesn’t hate the other person, but he’s not going to pay them a compliment either personally or about their work when he doesn’t genuinely think that. “These beats of a dark heart, use basslines to replace you”-He works on his music and loses himself in it in order to forget the loss of their friendship. “Take time and erase you, love don’t hear no more”-He’s taking the time to erase the other person from his life and forget what happened. “No I don’t fear no more, better yet respect ain’t quite sincere no more”-He’s not scared or intimidated by this person any more and isn’t afraid to speak out against them for hurting him. He feels that any ‘respect’ this artist pays towards him is a double edged sword-their compliments aren’t wholly sincere, instead they’re backhanded and with the intention of hurting or belittling him. I’m a 63yr old Aussie mum who grew up seeing AC/DC live with the great Bon Scott in Melbourne so many times in the 70’s as a teenager and have always loved Floyd, Zeppelin, Sabbath and heavy rock. This is the first time that I have ever listened to a Taylor Swift song. She has just toured here and truly, I was so sick of hearing about her (no offence to her). Her music has just never interested me, but give me Bad Omens, Rammstein and Falling in Reverse and I’m there for it! So here we go!
Check out My Tears Ricochet on the long pond studio sessions! You’ll appreciate it. Watch the one where she gives an explanation beforehand. It’s about having her masters sold out from under her. So much feeling in that one! Watch till the end.
This was a great video to start with. I would suggest the regular music video of “End Game” w Ed Sheeran and Future. Then, in order: “Intro… Ready for It” (live from the Reputation tour) “Don’t Blame Me” (live, Rep tour) “I Did Something Bad” (live/Rep) “All too Well” ((10 minute version) lyric video “Lover” (music video) “False God” (lyric video) THEN watch the TH-cam video, “Taylor Swift being a songwriting genius for 13 minutes” That’s a great start.. welcome to a brave new world, where TS haters are converted by actually paying attention to her music. lol

😂 .....someone made a list of who they all are in another comment....I had no idea and still only recognize a few of the names.....thanks for watching!
Everyone else pretty much summed up everything lol I will say this is a remix. The original doesn’t have Kendrick. I personally like the remix more just because I usually listen to rap/hip hop. You definitely should check out All Too Well Short Film. It’s incredible. I’m a new Swifty because she’s dating my Chiefs tight end lol So I’m only about 8 months in but I have been nothing but impressed by everything 🤍
Many swifties consider this aong as one of her worst songs ever. I disagree cause it's supposed to be catchy and fun. if you are interested in trying to get into Taylor, try the album 'reputation' I think it'll be a good opener for you to try.
having watched and listened to your thoughts, if you want something less aggressive, to understand her range, there's a few options. Anything from folklore and the long pond sessions especially, My tears ricochet, this is me trying or Cardigan. Champagne problems from evermore is also good, or anything from her more stripped back performances, such as the Grammy Museum. Really if you tell people what you like, then they can make suggestions in line with your interest.
First time I watch a video of you reactions and i’m willing to keep on doing it because you seem to be a kind and honest man by seeing a few different factor that’s gets to be put in a music video etc… Indeed you should keep reacting to Taylor Swift, i’m pretty sure you will find many song that you will like and feel really connected even if it’s in a different experience that has happened in your life! I recommend go watch any song from the Album ~ Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions. She would give an explanation why she wrote the each song and what it means to her, as well as how she sees or has a perspective about what she tells i’m each song. Hope you like the next Taylor Swift’s song reaction that you do and also enjoy the journey of getting t know her!
Hi friend, from Argentina! Great that you're starting this journey. And yes, every woman in this video are famous singers, models and musicians, and also her Friends. Including Her Best friend Selena Gomez as de main villain. The song is about her beef with Katy Perry. But everything's fine with Her now, in fact, Katy went to Her tour in Sidney and made a story enjoying this song. I think you're gonna connect more with Taylor's live shows, so I recomend for your next reaction Don't Blame Me from one of her most succesfull stadium tours: Reputation: th-cam.com/video/seOJleBbf-U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eT0QzAqBzPA83E9o 🎉

“I can’t take it back, look where I’m at”-he can’t take back everything that’s gone down between them because the conflict is too developed now

🙏🙏
Oh, and yes that was Zendaya from Dune.
Another great content 🤗
May I recommend you to watch/react another great song with sense: *"Disturbed -- The Light"*
I will add it to the list! 🙏

Selena Gomez kicked her out the window.
"Dont blame me Eras tour version" over "Ready for it and rep Intro" come at me. Everyone suggests that come on. But were swifties, were happy with anything. 🫶💙

Ok, maybe not the best choice for me, not into this at all.
These other "women" are famous. Not girls.
