Sad truth is that flashy moves like this have no place in martial arts, against a skilled opponent or master, this leaves a huge opening. They say martial arts is about who makes the first mistake...a move like this is the definition of a mistake. It is sad that MT and kickboxing is full of such clueless and silly wanna-be martial artists.
Rafael is one of the best strikers in the world, and just defeated Marc Diakiese at UFC Fight Island. He knows what he is talking about and is far a from a "wanna-be martial artist" ;)
