This is everything we need for commuting in English cities built around Roman Empire roads and parking spaces designed after the size of Mini from 1970. and yes... I see from the Kia website that ALL of the seats fold flat, making it a great little camping car. The sliding door is just brilliant - great for camping, but also for moving bulkier loads. Come on Kia UK/Europe, share the Ray with everyone else!
I absolutely adore this! That milky beige color’s absolutely lovely, a shame it isn’t coming to any nation besides SK, would’ve been a very nice competitor (and way more reliable) than the Fiat Pandas and all the other ones we get here.

If this car came to the Canary Islands, it would be a success as a vehicle for rental and use in the city. Sadly the last key cars to arrive were some Nissan Cube and some Daihatsu Sirion. It will have to be raised with the importer Domingo Alonso

Mitsubishi had the same problem as the Ray (being underpowered) with their i-MiEV. They had a tiny gasoline engine in the back driving the rear wheels. As soon as they made the vehicle electric, it was SO much better and eventually was sold outside of Japan. Maybe the same thing will happen with the Ray EV.
What a great little car! I'd love to see these in Romania where the only affordable alternative is the Dacia Spring. But after owning a Sportage for almost 7 years now, I'm partial to Kia ☺️. And this one would make so much more sense for the city than my big bulky Sportage. Would be easier to drive along narrow streets and easier to park. Plus my daily drive is less than 15 km taking the kids to and from school and to and from different extracurriculars. With that range (full regen in the city) I'd probably have to go around 2 weeks between charges or more. I would really like to see it available here too. Also love the passenger side. And the fact that it still has some usable booth to stop by the supermarket on the way home. Kia, please bring this to Europe as well, you are discriminating us for not being South Korean 😅
I love the car but I would change the tires and rims to make it more sporty looking and I try to find a way to give a much longer battery range like 650 to 2000 me range so I can use it a lot cuz I love the body style in the look it's really cool love to see more of it and I like to see it sold here in the US
I like this one very much🤩 only if it was in right hand drive & had 50 km more range, plus a vented front passenger seat it’d be perfect at around the 20k-22k price mark. Tbh tho it doesn’t need as much hp as it has got, they should trim off some of it for more range, a car of this type torque is more important it’s not like anyone is buying this car to go on the racetracks. A next gripe the sliding door should go further back for though it’s easy at the side to get in without pillars people who’re taller & thicker in body will find themselves getting hanged on the door. I can see this car being used for all kinds of purposes like a family car, grocery getter, taxis, delivery vans & so on! They need to make it global they’re missing out on profit.

Looks like a lovely vehicle. The only comparable vechicle (but much smaller) here would be the Smart EV. In Canada the big brother the Soul EV been sold for years but now they are saying they are not bringing it in anymore, just the gas model. 😢😢 Hope to see the EV9 on the streets next year.

Yeah, SOLD! ......but unfortunatly, we are Australians, and as I mentioned to you, we apsolutely loved that Ray while holidaying on Jeju Island. Our hire car had the petrol engine and it worked well, up and around the roads around Mt. Hallasan. You kept on raving about the Ray and I am keenly rave also about our holiday on Jeju Island. So all of you holiday hungry people, fly over to Jeju Island, hire a Kia Ray Electric and have a great time on the Honeymoon Island of South Korea, we did! .......and don't forget to visit HALLIM PARK to see the lava tubes!

I was watching a camping video on TH-cam a few nights ago where the Kia Ray was being used for camping in lieu of a tent. The use of internal space and that sliding door design just makes it so versatile. It’s an amazing little car with a cuteness factor that makes the Honda Jazz look boring. A great pity it’s only available within S. Korea and a very odd marketing decision on the part of Kia.

We need this Kia Ray EV and Hyundai Inster in Sri Lanka, it's better than BYD Seagull and Nissan Sakura cuz the Hyundai Inster and Kia Ray EV have heated and ventilated front seats. It's gonna benefit the lower middle-income class in Sri Lanka.
Just get the Ioniq 5N to tow the Ray along and then you'll get a sub 5 second 0-100kph!! I can't wait to see the Hyundai Casper EV when it comes to Europe 🙂
