I clay bar’d driver headlight on my Evo 8 Ralliart 4G69. The passenger headlight I wet sanded 3k down to 1.5k grit. The difference is phenomenal. Will lightly polish driver side but will more aggressively polish the pass side and see how they turn out with 2 different methods. I’ll say the drivers side is miles ahead simply bc I started with clay bar. 3M makes unmatched products. Good rework brother. Maybe if you care enough you could plastic mend the tiny cracks. Can’t wait for the new things coming, got our support, keep grinding never stop!

I suggest covering the engine bay. I had residue all over. Its ashame they went from glass to plastic lens. Wasnt a problem before. Love the shirt filter by the way!

That’ll go bad to. 2k Clear 3-4 coats, wet sand and polish. Lifetime.
Your a big inspiration, I always enjoy watching your videos, also I sanded and SPRAYED clear coat from a can, would the 3m work fine or do I need to do something else to remove the coat
Thank you bro! I mean if you sand it down how I did it will remove that clear coat you sprayed and then just re do it the way I did. But there are many ways you can restore headlights this is just a method that has worked for me many times!
Question, can you use HID headlights to Non HID headlights? Is it plug and play?

Not going to last. You sanded off the protective film. Now your headlights are going to keep yellowing. Dealt with the same issue on my ralliart. The best thing you can do is switch out the halogen bulbs to led and not hid either, because the heat that's produced is what turns the housing yellow and hazy. I used IPA and a little bit acetone, then finish with the drill polisher to clear up the lense.
