    Enjoyed it. Didn't go to the Practical Classics show - wish I had now! Liked the RR, and the 50-50 paint job on the Lotus highlights the difference between old and polished up. Oh, loved the 928 video, looking forward to the upcoming ones.

    I'm working on my 1987 XJS V12 outside and every time I take a break it's to come back and watch some more of this channel that I only just discovered. It's so inspirational which is deeply necessary sometimes as I'm sure anyone also doing this type of stuff will agree.

    I really enjoyed this. I'd have a blast at that show. I have a friend who lives in Birmingham. I don't think he's a car guy though. If you have ever been to the Bartons Arms, you have probably run into him. He had been doing tours of the place. Don't know if he still is.

    I'm still learning alot about British cars through Gary and these wonderful shows. In America, We only had Jaguars, Rolls Royces and a few other British marques. And by the time i was a teenager, alot of those brands(MG and Truimph) had already pulled out of the North American market. I think my two favorites are the Jaguar XjS and the Rover 800 Vitesse.

    Hi Gary. A fabulous show, and just as interesting, and entertaining (not to be underestimated), as your other videos. Just a thought though, and I don't know whether I missed it or not, but - I'm not hard of hearing, and the lady signing on stage looked like she was doing a great service to those who would otherwise have totally missed out : it would have been a nice gesture to have given her an introduction and an ovation as well. Maybe that happened and wasn't able to be included in the vid. No criticism implied by the way, loved it all.

    ...sound wasn't its best so we may have misheard but we're puzzled by the remark concerning the Scimitar axle. We had a SE5a Scimitar GTE slightly older than the one you stood next to. And in 8 years of doing our own servicing never had to dismantle the back axle and fill it with grease! Change the oil and check the level to schedule, yes, but never dismantle it. Providing the vent hole on the axle wasn't blocked that's all that was needed. Sounds like the one you spoke of was well past its best and very noisy.

      @classic.obsession  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it was way back in the 90’s so maybe I’ve remembered wrong. I just recall my friend being instructed to do this by the previous owner when purchasing it. Or was it to do with the gear selectors?anyway, I thought it was strange at the time.
      The previous owner had lost his leg in a motorbike crash so the drivers seat was moulded into a weird shape because of years of his unusual weight distribution. So after developing sciatica and back trouble and numb legs he reluctantly sold the car!! Regards.
