So bila nampak korang punya vlog ni, aku memang teruja la nak mempercepatkan proses miliki campervan 😃 Cuma problemnya aku konfius jugak la dlm pemilihan jenama van (alat ganti dll) , sistem solar (off grid) dan cara nk insolation van tu biar kedap bunyi dan suhu. Vid mat saleh mmg ada explain benda2 ni A to Z tapi nama pun mat saleh n aku ada masalah sikit nk faham (aku jawa :)) So dengan adanya video mcmni mmg membantu.
How easy it is to get on and off your car? Would love it for weekend or weeklong road trips but my car is also my daily commuter and wouldn’t want to be lugging around my tent sitting in KL traffic in the rain....
On the JPJ website they tell you the maximum height for items placed on the roof of vehicles. There is no law against a roof top tent. Just height restrictions you can check out on the JPJ website.
Would like to seek your guys experience on roof tent or pop up roof tent. Is it suitable only for camp site and not when we park at normal rest area or at open car park?
Roof top tents are best used in campsites only. Safety wise. That's why we sold ours and sleep inside our vehicle. We prefer to be able to park anywhere and not just in a campsite.
@@24hourtravellers I guess the RTT add weight to the camper which is a not a good option for fuel consumption. An addition, it isalso not aerodynamic either which will add more to the fuel cost. If the RTT is design aerodynamically with same shape as the van roof then it make sense.
Th Chew actually you can find hard shell pop top types aerodynamically designed selling price locally Rm6K which is ridiculous pricing. If you find few people want to order it's a little cheaper to bring in from China directly. As for weight, they are very light - ours was 40Kg. Less than the weight of one small sized lady. If you can get one that can open very easily and fast then it's good to get. If you have to struggle 15 mins to open it and another 15 mins to close, trust us - you won't be using it for long. You will use it for a short while and get fed up, Malaysia is too hot to spend time opening and closing RTT. Sweat buckets just doing that 😂😂😂😂
@@24hourtravellers Actually there is an automatic RTT that open and close itself. That would then cost a bomb. Pricing is really a hindrance. With that amount of cost, spending that in a good value accommodation or spending a good solar system for air conditioning would be my preference.
Th Chew anything automatic will breakdown and in long term travel like ours it's not worth it. Everything manual is easier and less expensive to maintain as we fix everything ourselves ..... yes price is a hindrance for RTT better spent on solar.
Bukan susah untuk semua. Untuk kami sahaja. Kami tak tinggal satu tempat lebih daripade 2 hari so leceh kalau buka tutup buka tutup. :)
Another wonderful content....beautiful doggies and i didnt see your cat this time.....the jim beam made me thirsty suddenly....dont you miss some ice with that? LOL. Enjoy the video and ive noticed an improvement in video transition...keep it up. Anyways may i know the price of RTT in your country? Thanks
Hi Marichell, thank you for your wonderful comments all the time. After a month in Campervan trial we got the hang of doing it with pets and got a little bit better with filming the days. Skye our kitty hides out in the van coz it does tend to get really hot outside. Price of the RTT here is between Rm1800 to Rm2000 - Usd400 estimate. Doesn't include the Custom Roof Rack which would depend on the individual vehicle.
oooh, great vid! Loving the music scenes interplayed with the talking scenes. Well done! Funny, as I was watching and thinking Ì guess it might be hard to get up there if you were really drunk too`then you showed the Jim Beam. LOL
How did we miss your message here! Must have been when we had no wifi for a long while, sorry about that Zoey. It is tricky climbing them stairs at 3am and if i am drunk doing it I best have my night cam on for a viral video of me tripping the steps!! lol
Aidi Ghazlan hello and welcome to our Channel. This is a good question. We love our RTT it's super airy and cool at night and comfortable. The Pop Up is said to be hotter because of its rectangle Box shape with n hard top. In terms of usage, if you are looking to stay a few nights n not move about get the RTT but if u intend on staying 1 night here and another night there n need to drive to buy some Nasi Lemak for breakfast then Pop Ups are fast and convenient to close up n go. 😊
