Hi can I have clarification on dosa no : 2. Is there a reason you added salt after fermentation? I live in very cold climate and fermentation takes a long time. Is it better to add salt before or after fermentation. Thanks

@@somyasharma882 The rice and all the types of lentils need to be soaked for a minimum of six hours if not overnight. This helps to ground it in one go and get the desired coarse-grained texture.
It all depends on how well your sugar is managed. I'm diabetic and I eat rice mainly for lunch and make it by boiling in lots of water and drain it once cooked. I also walk a lot and make sure to eat protein with every meal.

Please show dosa without rice. I think only one sprout dosa is without rice. Diabetic people cannot take rice
This is fermented rice. No worries for diabetic.. moreover rice is not the culprit for diabetes.. polished rice is the culprit..
I make all these without rice…just add a cup of urad daal and the dosas turn out so crispy!
